Ulasan Boutique Hotel Wellenberg

The hotel is almost perfect in every area. The staff are helpful and very friendly. It is located right in the Old Town and very near the river, the main train station as well as main tourist attractions. There are also eateries nearby to suit every kind of preference and budget. The only thing I wish they have is, for safety reason, hand rails (grab bars) in the bathtub for seniors because one has to climb in and out to use the shower.

We loved our stay at the hotel wellenberg during our recent trip to Zurich, it was perfectly situated and a lovely spacious family room. The bathroom could use an update, which I’m sure is in the works, as one that I spotted by the elevator looked stunning! Our kids especially loved the family tv/gaming room and special mention must be made of the lovely front desk staff and Ruth at breakfast who was absolutely charming. We would definitely return again on our next trip to Zurich.

The hotel toilet trash can was full of toilet paper and was not cleaned before check-in. I called the front desk to ask for the trash can to be cleaned and was told that the cleaning staff had taken a break and would not be able to clean until tomorrow morning, but we would check-out tomorrow. The other three people staying only had 2 cups, so they had to ask the front desk to get them. In addition, the room was very dusty and lacked cleaning. In addition, the bathroom in the room is old and different from the photos, so it is not recommended. The only advantage is that it's close to the old town.

The family room is very large, which is pretty good among European hotels. The city of Zurich is not large, so the hotel is very convenient to go anywhere.
