SScarletTheWandererWow! 🤩 This is one of the most wonderful hotels I’ve stayed in! The views from the rooms are incredible. Waking up to sunrise hitting the water and mountains was amazing! The rooms are super clean, the showers strong and the sheets and bed are luxurious. I booked the Mountain View which was very nice with a balcony but decided to upgrade to lake view when I arrived as the views were incredible! Loved the bath!!! The staff are so kind, friendly, helpful and always greet you with a smile. The boss and staff went out of their way to help me have the best time during my stay. The check in was simple and easy. Breakfast was a big bowl of delicious fresh noodles and an assortment of Chinese breakfast treats, along with tasty fresh local fruits! Every night they give you fresh local fruit after dinner too – so nice!
Looking directly over the lake, it’s 5 meters from a walking path right beside the lake and you can easily explore the whole area by foot from here, or rent bikes nearby to see more of the lakeline. It’s also very close to the boat that brings you to Phoenix Island so it’s very conviennent.
Navigating your way there is easy and there is plenty of free parking out front. From here you can walk into town to get dinner or some snacks which is only 5-10mins but has plenty of options. It’s far enough away that it’s very peaceful here at night and you can see the moon reflected on the water and sleep in peace.
Would really recommend this place for families, couples or friends travelling as it’s just wonderful! Can’t wait to come back and stay again!

The facilities we saw along the way looked like a refugee camp. The room looked like it had just been renovated and smelled of paint. The landlord changed the room to a double bed room. I thought it should be OK. Since there was a price difference, I asked the landlord to refund the price difference. GGuest UserThe stay experience is perfect! The location is excellent, the surrounding environment is very good, and it is close to Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area, Gaoyiling and places to eat. The key point is very very clean and tidy, there is enough hot water and water pressure, the facilities and equipment are very new, the environment is very good, and it is relatively quiet. The front desk service is very warm and thoughtful, proactive, warm and considerate, and recommends attractions and food guides. I was taken care of throughout the whole process, highly recommended.

SScarletTheWandererThis is located right in the center of Zixing and is very easy to find. The suspension bridge is not a far walk and there are so many options close by to eat – including the restaurant linked to the hotel on the first floow. I booked the elegant room with no window and it was spacious and the bed was very comfortable with luxurious towels and sheets. The bathroom and shower could have been cleaner but for this excellent price it’s not expected to be perfect. It’s a great budget choice if you are arriving late and want to get into the Donjiang Scenic Area the next day. The room was rather loud as the echos from other guests reverberated into the room. Saying that, I enjoyed my stay, the front desk was friendly and check in was easy. The owner even gave me fresh peaches and tea while I waited for my taxi, a really nice touch.
