The soundproofing of the room was poor. During the day, I could hear renovations on the third floor and children crying in other rooms. When I came back from staying on the fifth floor, I saw someone on the large platform in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows. They were walking around using hooks to fix the air conditioner. Machine, it feels a little strange
On the first night of my stay, my feet were bitten by bed mites.
Everything else is okay, the bed and toilets are quite clean.

The hotel is in a great location, with a view of the bay (although I couldn't see Zhanjiang Bay from my room), the beach is just across the street, and it's adjacent to the Jinshawan Shopping Center and the Liyue Xintiandi shopping malls, which have many restaurants. In terms of hardware, the room is large, with a cloakroom, and the bathroom is as long as the room, with a large landscape window and double basins, which is very good. It feels comfortable to live in such a room (the TV is small and the picture is not high-definition). The vaulted ceiling of the all-day restaurant on the first floor is similar to that of an old European train station, and the space is large (the disadvantage is that the temperature dropped on those two days, and the restaurant was facing the hotel gate, so it felt a bit cold to dine there). The breakfast was OK. The service was satisfactory.

Overall it's very good. The sea view room has a wide view and a large indoor space. There is a beach and sea view promenade across the road downstairs, and there are shopping malls around it, which is very convenient. The room facilities are very good. There is a full-length mirror, which is very convenient. The bathroom is Kohler brand and comes with a disposable toilet seat. The only drawback is that the angle of the shower head cannot be adjusted, making bathing inconvenient. It is recommended that the hotel improve it as soon as possible. In addition, if you are driving, it is best to call the front desk and ask the front desk to send you a guidance video, otherwise it will be difficult to find your way into the parking lot. Fortunately, I chose this hotel after carefully reading the reviews and saw the parking reminder in the reviews. (Attached is a reminder from the hotel: Please park your vehicle in the B/E area of the parking lot of the ”Vientiane Sands Bay Shopping Center” with pink/blue colors on the wall). When you arrive at the parking lot, go through the gate and turn left and keep driving. It is best to park until Area B is closer to the elevator, and areas B/E are free. Find the sign ”Sand Bay No. 1” apartment and go to the 9th floor to check in. )

The location of the room is very good, not far from anywhere. After staying for one night, the price is still a little higher.
Dongfeng Market has been relocated to Fisherman's Wharf and has a lot of seafood. It may be retail, and the price is not particularly cheap. Large flower snails cost NT$50 per pound, and shrimps cost NT$70 per pound. They smell like gasoline. The processing fee for boiled rice is 15 yuan per pound, which is quite expensive. For 10 people, the processing fee is more than 300, which is too much.

I have been on business trips many times, but it was my first time staying in this hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised. The overall service of the staff was excellent. We stayed for two days. The car was at 19:00 on the second day. I communicated with the front desk, and without saying anything, they helped us extend it to 16:00, which was very considerate.
The hotel's breakfast was delicious. I especially liked shrimp cakes and beef cakes. In addition, afternoon tea and midnight snacks were provided every day. The midnight snacks were noodles and vermicelli, and smoked fish. I felt that I was going to get fat after staying for two days. I didn't go for afternoon tea because I really couldn't eat it.
Because the experience of this stay was particularly good, I decisively changed the hotel I stayed in Nanchang to this one.
The Golden Beach is downstairs from the hotel, and the cruise ship is also very close, basically within 5 minutes.

It was a rare business trip, and staying at Kaiyuan Hotel really gave me an unexpected surprise. From the hotel lobby to the room, the sea view is really great, and the service attitude of the ladies at the front desk is comparable to that of a five-star hotel. Secondly, the layout of the room is brand new, with complete facilities and equipment, and everything that should be equipped is available. Thumbs up. There are many types of breakfast, which really suits us busy people who are on business trips, and it feels like a break from the busy schedule. Next time I go back, I will still stay at Kaiyuan, at least the first impression really determines all choices.

TTaisiyaWe have stayed at Sheraton for one night as a family with young children. The breakfast has lots of choice and very very yummy! Both Western and Chinese dishes. We had dinner at the same restaurant, all was very good! The service was really good, comparing to Sheraton Haitang Bay in Sanya (where we didn't have good experience at all). Hotel staff takes exceptional care of hotel guests. The only thing to improve is the kids playroom which is very much small and needs some maintenance.
We will definitely come back.

Convenient underground parking. There is ATM, service center in hotel, it is possible to pay with foreign credit cards. Large supermarket just behind the corner. This hotel will be always preferential for us during stay in Zhanjiang!

BBcI stayed there for two nights before and thought that the kitchen could only be used to boil water with a kettle for instant noodles, tea and coffee. It was not until the third night that I discovered that there was a range hood in the kitchen, which meant that food could be cooked (there was a notice on the wall stating that high-power electrical appliances could not be used). As long as you can cook, it will be more suitable for a long stay vacation. The room is very comfortable and elegant. You can see the sea and the sunrise from the floor-to-ceiling windows. You can sit on the sofa, sip tea or drink coffee, and enjoy the leisurely time. It makes you reluctant to check out. oh! The boss is very considerate. There are many hangers in the kitchen cabinet and a washing machine on the balcony. Laundry detergent is provided, so you can wash your clothes after staying for a few days, which undoubtedly solves the worries of travelers.

The only negative on the location was that it was hard to find since there was no address and it was in an alleyway. Room was clean, the owner was nice and friendly. I like how the room had a washer for guests to wash their clothes in. The only negative was that there were no towels and the toilet doesn't have a flush button. Toilet is in small area. The shower was too small for me to take a shower in. Would be more than happy to comeback to this place if I needed to.
