Riad le Rihani

We spent 5 full days at this Riad and loved it all! It is so quite and peaceful compared to the hustle and bustle of the streets. Our room was well presented, good shower and good quality linen and towels. Dinner is excellent, especially the lamb tagine. Breakfast is continental style, bread, fruit, pastry and eggs. Perfect for the morning time. We also ate lunch here, although it was a little slow being prepared it was delicious and the wait was fine as we were lounging around the pool anyway. The staff are what make this Riad though, Nadia and Aziz are absolutely amazing! I was in contact alot with Nadia before our arrival, she booked all our activities for us and all suppliers were high quality. Aziz is amazing at his job, a friendly face with multiple fluent languages. He was a step ahead all the time, remembering our coffee offers, offering us a beer when we returned from tours, he is just excellent at his job and could easily manage the place! One thing to note is that it is a little expensive but worth it. Prices are quite similar to home which we werent expecting but it seems to be the going rate at Riads of this quality. Great stay, will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Marrakech at another time. Thank you, Meghan & Ian

When you're here you're home. Absolutely beautiful riad with the most amazing staff. The location was perfect, a short walk to the markets and restaurants yet very peaceful. We were greeted with mint tea and snacks upon arrival. Our room was exactly as pictured, very spacious and comfortable. The pool was luxurious, the spa was relaxing, and the food was incredible. We actually had the best dinner all week at our own riad. Thank you Nadia, Sofia, Eunice, Mohammed, and Ali for making our stay so enjoyable.

We're just back from a fabulous 3 nights staying in the Le'Esclave suite. It was just perfect, and so easy. We used the Riad's transfer from the airport, and were met at the drop off area of the medina, then walked to the door (took away any stress of finding it the first time!). Our room was beautiful, bigger and a bit brighter than I imagined from the website photos. The bed is very comfortable and huge! Everything in the whole Riad was spotlessly clean, the staff so very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed taking it easy on the rooftop for the first afternoon, and each day enjoyed a relaxed breakfast by the pool. The riad is quite well hidden, so close to the main action, but so quiet once you get through that amazing wooden door. It's beautiful when lit up at night too, you can head to the roof to watch an epic sunset over the mosque and hear the last call to prayer.

Le Rihani was such a special find. A lovely, serene place tucked away on a quiet side street but right near the action. With its 10 rooms, it was almost like staying at a friend's luxurious home. I felt so peaceful there that I did not want to leave! Location: The perfect location halfway between the Jemaa el-Fnaa and the Bahia Palace. They will send a car for you but if you want to go yourself, just opposite the Patisserie Corne de Gazelle, duck under the the leather purse covered arch into what looks like a tunnel. First left. Quick left and then right at the first wall. Then it is the last door on the left when you hit the next T :) Staff: Very friendly and took wonderful care of us, especially Sofia in the office. She was very accessible by What's App, which was important given our connecting flight was delayed by 5 hours! Rooms: We stayed in the Family Suite Ayla with our two college and high school aged kids. The suite had three spaces: you enter via a small niche with a twin, proceed to a larger room with a queen, through a hallway with doors to the toilet room and the sink/shower room and into the back room with a queen. It was perfect for us. Beds were firm but comfortable. Shower was spacious. Double sinks convenient (though too shallow to do laundry in). Food: The food was delicious. I miss those breakfasts - each morning, a different type of Moroccan bread/pancake, a different (sweet) quick bread, honey, jam, cheese and fruit. Eggs available upon request. We had dinner there 2 of our 4 nights. Normally we want to go somewhere different every day, but the food was delicious and the poolside table so nice, we had to stay in for dinner our last night. Downsides: We loved, loved, loved Le Rihani, and I personally am heading straight back if I ever go to Marrakech again, but just two notes. (1) The stairs to our room were particularly steep and tight. I wouldn't want to carry a child up them. Would have been hard for someone a little unsure on their feet or someone with large frame. (2) Bathroom also very tight - not the best for someone with a large frame.

Superb Riad in a brilliant location. The staff can’t do enough for you, rooms are beautiful, the food here is great as is the couples Hammam and massage.. there’s a little pool you can cool off in but you are only minutes away from all the fun/chaos of Marrakech . Highly recommend this place

Great friendly staff who helped fix so many things for us including being picked up from/to airport which left us stress free. The breakfasts were fabulous, so much so that we had to keep cancelling lunch. Well maintained and nicely decorated and convenient location. Wish I had used the roof terrace more. The only negative thing was wifi a bit patchy which teens moaned about.
