The service of the hotel exceeded the service received at a 5*. The hotel is set in a very convenient location with beautiful scenery from the room. The staff were kind accommodating and welcoming. The duty manager exceeded the levels of hospitality. The breakfast staff went out of their way to accommodate us and make specially halal vegetarian food for us. Which was highly appreciated. They even gave us tips on where to go sightsee and how to get there. The room amenities was good . Only thing that let it down was the cleaning. The bathroom looked as if it was not properly cleaned , on informing the staff, they said it would be seen to. However the next day the same left hair from the previous guests was still there. The room had a rug which was very dirty. More attention can be paid to daily cleaning. Everything else was fantastic. Especially the service which was top notch.

We enjoyed very much the stay. The hotel was beautiful, location was perfectly close to the scenic spots, lots of good food along the street. Special thanks to the manager Mr Ma Xin Yin. He was so kind and paid full attention to every detail. He even recognised us and gave us apples when he met us on the street, despite being off duty.

The location is just opposite the ancient town and 20 min walk from the RMB 20 view. It would be good if the toilet can have a sliding door from the room so that one can change before and after getting out from shower. Breakfast choices limited as only Chinese cuisine is available. Service is excellent.

New hotel, facilities are new and good, services are excellent! Especially GM Roger! Nearby to places of tour - lijiang, gujie, etc. Will stay again when here.

Though the hotel is located away from most of the attractions, but it also has quite a few eateries nearby. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean.

The room is very big with very good amenities. Also there are 2 toilets in the room. The location is very close with touristic spot as well. We surely will stay here again.

Clean room, sophisticated decor, convenient location. Hotel has proper laundry facilities and proper gym which are welcomed by travellers; we didn’t have the opportunities to use both. Special call out to front desk staff Jason, who provided us with excellent customer service. We appreciate your hospitality and attention to detail. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is just a great place , no need to say much about it. Only improvement could be the western part of the breakfast, the bread selection was really low quality, worse than a supermarket and little option.

I had a fantastic stay at the Mercure Hotel in Xingping! The hotel is brand new which really shows. Fantastic rooms. Great breakfast, great view from the rooftop. The staff was also fantastic. They helped us with everything and all our questions regarding our stay and booking of tours. All staff was really good and friendly. I especially had a really good experience with Tangxinglan who was a great help with my many question which she dealt with with very patiently. Can definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic rooms with included soft drinks. Staff were great and the location is as perfect as you can get. Right across from old town! The breakfast isn’t worth the price however.
