During May 1st, I chose this not cheap hotel to stay because of its unique location. Being able to open a hotel on Pagoda Mountain is indeed a demonstration of its strength. The room facilities and environment are indeed very good. Although the price is slightly more expensive in comparison. But considering that we are on Pagoda Mountain, it is understandable. During this period, there was an episode, and swarms of little ants appeared in our room. Called the hotel to handle it. The waiter didn't find any excuse at all and went around every corner to disinfect the people seriously. The service awareness is really good. It's a pity that the temperature dropped on the night we arrived, otherwise it would have been a great experience to drink tea and chat in the small courtyard at night. Recommend~

I traveled to Yan'an, the holy land of the Red Revolution, on a winter weekend and saw that this hotel was highly rated online. After checking in, I found it was really great. The front desk staff and security guards are very friendly. Parking 🅿️ is right at the door. Very convenient. The room was warm and clean, with plenty of hot water from the tap shower head. It’s really comfortable. The next day breakfast was delivered to the room. The location is also good. It is very close to the night market street and Wanda. Recommended! !

The appearance is not as good as the aerial view in the picture hahaha
I think as a state guesthouse, it lacks a garden and walking environment. The venue is large but it is basically a square and a parking lot.
The gym is another one open to the public in the basement. I think it is still difficult to find and a bit inconvenient.
Before checking out, I met the waiter who came to clean at 12 o'clock. I don't know if it was not communicated well or what. According to reason, it should be cleaned after checking out.
If the original price and five-star standard, I feel there is room for improvement

I came to Yan'an for two days. I saw the new upgrade and decoration of Guosheng Hotel. The score was also high and I chose to live here. The price was also more favorable than the city center hotel. It really didn't disappoint me. The location is excellent, it is only 20 minutes away from the city center. GGuest UserWe booked two rooms, both with a big kang. It was very spacious when we pushed open the door, and the layout was very typical of northern Shaanxi.
The yard is a standard farmyard, kept very clean and nice for children to run around and look around.
The boss and his wife are very nice, and the food tastes good.
It is very close to Qiankun Bay. You can see the Yellow River in a few steps on the road next to the house. The scenery is great. There are jujube trees on both sides of the road (you can reach them and secretly pick two 🤭)
The mountain road is rugged and there is a section of stone-paved washboard road, so you have to be careful when driving.

If it is not enough, call the front desk and they will deliver it. The hotel front desk beauty Xiao Gao is warm and thoughtful, considerate and meticulous. It really feels like returning home, just like visiting a relative's house and receiving a warm hospitality. His family has a large gym and a swimming pool. There is free parking and it is located in a bustling area, which is convenient to go anywhere. His hotel also has a restaurant, and it is convenient to eat, drink, entertain and travel around. We upgraded to a south-facing pagoda view room. Floor-to-ceiling windows, plenty of sunlight. You can see the lights of the pagoda at night, and we are lucky to see the light show. There is also braised carp for breakfast, which is delicious and tasty. There are both hot and cold dishes, fruit, bread, snacks and coffee. I am very happy to have chosen a comfortable and favorite hotel this time.

GGuest UserThe hotel reception is excellent. Very helpful through a phone translator. This Yan’an hotel, like a high proportion in my experience, has a different name than on Trip.com. The name on the elevator is Pod Inn.
One of the revolutionary sites is a very short walk away: 25 yuan entrance plus 100 yuan deposit for the audio guide. Alipay doesn’t work, but WeChat does. Or bring cash.
Great to be in Yan’an for the memorial museum:
1. You only need passport and to fill in details in the visitor book to get in 2. Free to get in and awesome because of the importance of this time. 3. Bring your translator camera app to get a lot more out of this amazing place.

GGuest UserThe room is large, clean and hygienic. I booked two rooms, one standard room and one Kang room. The layout is very unique. The bed is comfortable. There is a parking space at the door, but there are not many parking spaces. I took the elevator and saw that there is an underground parking lot on the first floor that is not open. The breakfast variety is very rich, and the small apples placed at the front desk are delicious. Unfortunately, they are not sold. I walked around Yan'an and didn't see any for sale, which is a bit regretful.

Although occasionally the sound of external cars passing by the street, the internal accommodation is still relatively quiet. The bath water on the first day was not too hot, and the water temperature on the second day was OK. The most important thing is very close to Yan'an Railway Station. It takes 7 or 8 minutes to walk. From the hotel, you can see the mountain view and the train station. Generally, you can pick up the door for a day trip. Overall it is satisfactory.

WWandering EnglishmanEnjoyed a very pleasant 4 day trip to visit the historical and revolutionary sites of Yan’an and the trip was made much better thanks to a very comfortable and convenient stay at the Wanda Realm. For anybody who plans to visit the city I highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is located just to the south of the old city of Yan’an in the newly built Wanda City area. It is a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the old center (depending on traffic) and it’s relatively easy to call a taxi with a ride hailing app like Didi. It’s also within walking distance of the Red Street 红街 tourism area that has a theatre, cinema, activities, coffee shops and restaurants.
The hotel is new and all of the main public areas are clean and well maintained - such as the lobby, hotel rooms, restaurant and gym/pool. The gym contains my favorite Life Fitness gym equipment (a quality brand) and the multi-lane, 25m meter pool is a dream for anyone who likes to swim. It even offers a good view.
The hotel breakfast is very good value for money and offers a high quality selection of Western-style food (bread, eggs, bacon, sausages and cereals) as well as very tasty local Chinese food - especially local Yan’an/Shanxi noodles and dumplings. For any foreigners like me, you’ll get a good sense of local taste with good ingredients.
The room was very clean and spacious with nice balcony and great view of the lake and Red Street. Service staff was excellent and many staff speak good English. We even received a nice hand written message and welcome fruits.
Especially if you travel with children, this is where you should stay in Yan’an. Thank you for making my holiday more enjoyable.

GGuest UserThe park is covered with green plants. There are outdoor swimming pools for children and adults. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry and didn't have time to experience the water. There are also gardening arrangements, complete housing facilities and equipment, clean and tidy. The staff is very considerate. They turned on the air conditioner in advance, increased the amount of mineral water, and prepared children's slippers. The breakfast is very satisfactory, with Western-style pastries and grains with the characteristics of northern Shaanxi. When checking out, the front desk staff also gave a souvenir, a grain gift bag from northern Shaanxi. In short, I am satisfied! Satisfied! I will recommend other friends to come.

GGuest UserThe environment is good, and it is relatively expensive in Yan'an. It is right next to the train station, which is very convenient and close to the city. However, because the hotel is too close to the train track, the noise from the high-speed train passing the station is still quite loud.
The front desk service is very good and very welcoming. Check out was quick enough. However, there is no disposable toilet cover, so it is recommended to improve it.
I didn't eat breakfast, so I can't comment. Overall, it's worth recommending.

It is also close to the Huangdi Mausoleum scenic spot, and it is very convenient to eat. At the entrance of the hotel, the service staff arranged a free parking space for us. The environment in the lobby is very comfortable. The beauty at the front desk also kindly helped us check in and gave us local emerald pears.
