Xi'an Distance Apartment Reviews

Throughout my China train travels, I've seen these groupings of identical buildings in every major city. Now I've had the chance to stay at one, thanks to the Xi'an Distance Apartment. It's actually much nicer than a hotel, because I can't hear people in the other rooms. The view out the window is spectacular. The room is large, and so is the bathroom. Amenities are provided, including soap, shampoo, drinking water (from a dispenser), and there's even a clothes washing machine! The apartment is in a nice development surrounded by shops and restaurants, plus food carts come out at night. The Metro station is just a 5 minute walk once you leave the apartment.

Very hard to find and not enough information at all. Translate the Chinese adress to find the building number and floor. We had to ask help to call the owner in order to enter inside

The apartment can be reached by subway if you don't mind to walk a bit. Just call the boss to self check in with code number as the apartments are guarded. There is a small morning market beside the subway station if you like to purchase some fresh fruits, vegetables and foods for breakfast. The subway station is connected to Xinyang International Airport for our depart from Xi'an.

Nice apartment, clean

Amazing location and area. Great room and floor of the building, awesome view! It was a nice and very local experience. We felt like locals. The only thing we didn’t like was that smoking was allowed there.

Very hard to find, no English spoken, the glass sink was shattered, the bathroom smelled bad. The bed stank of cigarettes. The positive points are the electronically heated bed and the hot shower. It has simple amenities. The view is also good, quite high up.

Everything was great! I've read that some people have a hard time finding the location. It's located in Tower 9, floor number 21. The tower, floor, and door are explained on Trip. It's very easy to get to. On the door is the owner's phone number who will let you in. If you have any language problems, write to him on WeChat and he will help you. We wrote to him and he answered us right away. He was very nice to us. There are many services around the hotel, including a market with a variety of food.

The room is very good, the toilet is very clean, the boss's service is very good, and the cleaning is timely, there is free drinking water, the air conditioner is also very powerful, the Internet speed is fast, and overall it is very cost-effective! Will stay again in the future

The apartment location has several exits. One of the exits is across a small road to the Beiyuan Subway Station. There are many restaurants nearby. There is also a night market next to the Beiyuan Subway Station. The apartment is very convenient to stay. The boss is also very nice and toilet paper is available. It's very high-end and thicker than ordinary hotels. The door uses a card sensor to enter a gate, and then uses the key to open the door and enter the room. There is no washing machine, the room is quite large, and it is convenient to dry clothes, but 1/4 of the curtains cannot be opened. When you lift it up, it's stuck and can't be pulled out. If you have higher requirements for room cleanliness, you may not be satisfied and need to clean it yourself. If you don't have special requirements for cleanliness, considering the price, location and room size, It's a good choice.

The room is nice and clean, the shared bathroom is a bit dirty unfortunately. Our problem was checking in, we arrived at around 9pm, after a long train journey. We had not received instructions on how to reach the facility inside the palace. We first asked the doorman, then some guys, fortunately one of them opened the entrance door for us (which can only be opened with a card or code) and told us which floor to go to. Once we arrived we rang but no one answered. Luckily a rider had to deliver to the same floor, he called the number and spoke in Chinese for us, in the end he was the one who checked us in. Without him we would have been left outside the door!
