This Novotel Xian Hotel is in a very strategic location near the MRT station, next to a mall and surrounded by restaurants and grocery stores. Love this place. Overall the service is good, there are only a few comments: * if you like going to karaoke or going to the cinema, then you will like the dimly lit room theme with very minimal lighting, unfortunately my family and I are not comfortable with minimal room lighting, the room is dark. * If you like going to the SPA to soak in hot and cold water, then you will like the unstable condition of the hot water for bathing (shower) because it sometimes flows hot and cold water alternately. Unfortunately, my family and I don't like going to SPA, so this condition is a little annoying. * The thing that is very disturbing is that THE ROOM HAVE NO AC (Air Conditioner)... I have asked the staff, the information is that the AC facilities have not been activated in April, and please open a small window if the room feels hot. I thought it was April Fool's Day, but it turned out that staying 3 nights without AC made me sleep uncomfortable because it was hot even though the window was open, not to mention the noise of traffic at night which disturbed my sleep. Maybe I was careless in not reading the information when booking this room, but it seems I didn't find clear information that there were no AC facilities in April. This is the first time in my life that I have stayed in a 4 star hotel or above that doesn't have AC, LOL. My advice to potential guests is to be careful if you want to book this hotel, better check and recheck. Breakfast so so, you can try Xian traditional food here.

Staying at Novotel Xi'an Yidun was an experience beyond expectations! Special thanks to Manager He and Manager Yuan from the front office. Their professionalism and enthusiasm made the whole trip full of surprises. When checking in, Manager He gave us a detailed introduction to the hotel facilities and surrounding areas, and took the initiative to help us upgrade our room type. After learning about our itinerary changes, Manager Yuan quickly coordinated resources to optimize arrangements, and his smiling service throughout the entire process made us feel very thoughtful. Whether it was inquiring about traffic routes late at night or responding to temporary needs, their efficient response and warm care made us feel the true meaning of ”feeling at home”. The hotel has an elegant environment, impeccable hygiene, rich breakfast variety and a convenient location. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel, especially the front office team for their excellent service! I hope I’ll have the opportunity to experience this unique hospitality again in the future!
