"Wuwei is the cleanest city among the four prefectures of Hexi, bar none; its streets and alleys are spotless. The hotel has a great location and follows a very traditional chain hotel management model. There are supermarkets and many restaurants nearby, and hygiene and safety are generally good. The downside is that breakfast doesn't start until 7:30 am, which is inconvenient for early risers. Hotels in Dunhuang offer breakfast at 6 am, and the same applies to Zhangye and Lanzhou at 7 am. Don't underestimate the importance of the half-hour time difference!"
