I stayed at the Marriott Palm Beach for a family reunion in September 2024 and was impressed by the property’s beautiful location near the water and the warm, attentive service provided by the staff. Unfortunately, my experience was significantly overshadowed by serious billing issues and an unacceptable lack of response from hotel management. Upon returning home, I reviewed my credit card statement and found multiple charges for bar tabs that were not mine. My credit card provider sent digital copies of the receipts, which clearly showed different signatures, indicating that another guest had used my room number to make these purchases. Additionally, I was incorrectly billed for multiple nights, despite only staying one night due to an early departure for hurricane relief deployment with my team in Tampa. I made several attempts to contact the hotel to address these discrepancies. Despite numerous phone calls, I never received a return call or any resolution. This lack of accountability and communication from management has been extremely disappointing, especially given the otherwise high standards of the hotel and its staff.
