After we rode 60 kilometers over mountains and ridges from Qingshui Bay in Lingshui to Xinglong, for my husband (who is British) and I, Xinglong Nanyang Hotel is really a paradise on earth. As soon as he arrived at the lobby, he smelled coffee and couldn't wait to have a cup. When we got to the room, the room was spacious, bright and spotless, with large windows, very clean bedding, the bed also had a massage function, and the whole room was very modern in design. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry areas, and the shower water is abundant and comfortable. There is a Nanyang-style restaurant downstairs with a history of more than 100 years. On the left side of the hotel entrance is the market ”Qiao Xiang Basa” frequented by the locals. We bought fruits there. There are also many food and coffee shops on the street opposite the hometown of Barcelona. We also bought coffee across the street (Xinglong Coffee is also famous). The locals are very warm and friendly. In a word, Xinglong Nanyang Hotel has a good location, first-class facilities and high cost performance. If I come to Xinglong again, I will stay here again.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, affordable price for friends vacation.
This hotel is located in the city centre, it’s good if you want to stay in the city centre and explore that side of Wanning. And it’s very close to the train station which is convenient. However it’s very far from the beach side being it the; Shenzhou peninsula island, Shimei bay or Riyue bay.
So if you plan on going to Riyuewan a lot for the beach, or the bars and restaurants they have there I’d suggest booking in the area rather than the city centre for more connivence

DDavidThe hotel is beautifully situated with its own beach. The landscaping and grounds are picturesque as are the ocean views. I have previously stayed in big hotels in Sanya that involve long walks to the facilities and the beach. However, this hotel is really nicely sized. The lagoon pools and infinity pools were great, though I did wonder a bit about the cleanliness levels. I was initially concerned about reviews saying the place looked aged, but in person the rooms seemed fine, spacious and clean. The service was excellent on every level. They did not have a business center but they helped me out with some business needs. The breakfast was diverse and they made sure to keep the buffet filled up despite a large number of diners. All in all, it was a very refreshing and enjoyable stay. Note that taking a train from Sanya Airport to Wanning is not difficult and economical if the timing works well for your flights.

The view from the residence is really beautiful. You can surf downstairs. There is also a shooting place for the TV drama Xiahua. There are also amusement facilities downstairs. After booking the hotel, the housekeeper Marcia contacted us immediately. We were traveling by car and arrived at more than 12 o'clock. Marcia also suggested that we could check in in advance after arriving. We mentioned the room we wanted, and the hotel said that they would try their best to meet our needs. After completing the procedures, there was no room number. We could come back to get the room card after the room was cleaned. The shuttle bus on the negative first floor of the lobby took us directly to the room.
Very pleasantly surprised, they helped us upgrade the room. The experience of the courtyard sea view suite was great. The bedroom and living room could see the sea. There were also two bathrooms and toilets, as well as JBL speakers. It can also be felt that the hygiene was very clean. When going out of the room to use the car, it is recommended to dial 0 directly in the room to call the front desk service to make an appointment for a car, which would be faster. Scanning the code is not very friendly.
There are fisherman's restaurant and Yige for breakfast. We went to the fisherman's restaurant. There would be fewer people before 9 o'clock. When we came out after eating, we saw many people queuing in.
The travel photo shoot was provided, and you can make an appointment when booking the hotel. 10 photos that have not been retouched are provided for free. I think the photographer took good photos. You can just adjust the filter by yourself.

The handsome guy at the front desk upgraded the room when he saw the children and the elderly! really thankful! 👍, you can see the sea from the window 🌊 and the internet celebrity check-in spot ~ The ”Lighthouse” where she disappeared. It's a pleasant surprise. The hotel is a seaside 🏝️ villa 🏡, and the environment and service are also very good! A very cost-effective hotel! My family is very happy😃. KKelkooIt’s a 20 min walk to the beach - I’d recommend renting a scooter if you are staying for more than a night. The walking route is through some dusty road in repair and you have to cross some sort of highway - not the most convenient. Though it’s located in a lively neighborhood with lots of food options.
The reception area is sort of messy and there’s no real space to hangout. It feels more like an unfinished lobby space with carton boxes on one side and work out equipments on another. Could be better so arriving residents can feel more welcomed.

KKelkooLocation: ONLY book if you are coming with your own car. Accommodation is not easily accessible by foot especially if you are arriving at night. All food places at least 5-10 min DRIVE. However, it is an interesting location as it is not close to the sea, so you get to experience another side of Hainan’s environment. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent.
Service: Was just okay - not the most helpful unless you ask questions. For example, the SUPs have to be booked ahead so their trainer is scheduled to come - which was not mentioned. So if you are only staying for one day, make sure you tell them ahead.
Cleanliness: Since it is a humid environment, mould will likely appear. The tent we were in had a lot of mould on many of the inner walls. There was an attempt at simply covering it but these tents should be cleaned and treated.
Amenities: the tents definitely are definitely more fancy than normal tents - ours had a shower and AC. I was mostly disappointed by the lack of activities and food availability. I think if you are an accommodation that is difficult to access - at least food/drinks options should be provided.
