Aloha Junction Guest House - 5 Min from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Very clean room with ample amenities. The home was well kept and in a beautiful garden setting. The host was friendly and welcoming. It was also in a very convenient location, close to the Volcano National Park, local markets and restaurants.

This was a great place to stay while visiting the volcano. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the location was perfect. We walked to two restaurants and the volcano visitor's center was just a short drive away. I would highly recommend staying here.

Convenient location to Volcanoes National Park and very pleasant setting. Rustic. The owner Robert was a very nice person to interact with. The food provided could be better, as the email said there would be fruit and yogourt, but none were provided. Also, it would be nice to have a hand towel in the bathroom and a tea towel to dry the dishes in the little kitchenette. Overall a good experience.

We stumbled upon this fantastic B&B and couldn’t have been more pleased. It surpassed our expectations. Clean, quiet, great breakfast, and overall a restful night! The owners were so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly, highly recommend!

We stayed overnight in the Nene Goose room aka Alpine Room while on the Big Island and visiting Hawaii Volcano National Park. It was so conveniently located in regard to the park and local restaurants and things to do. We stopped for a wine tasting at Volcano Winery which was less than 10 min away, highly recommend! The National park is also a very short drive from the B’n’B. Our stay at Aloha Junction was great! Super comfortable bed, newly remodeled bathroom and updated room. We were greeted by Gus the goose and Bear the dog, both great ambassadors! The rooster alarm was much more fun than an electronic version! The grounds and the gardens were beautifully maintained. Breakfast was made by Robert, one of the owners, and his pancakes were so tasty. The home was very nice, comfortable and it was great to have access to the kitchen 24/7 for coffees, tea and fridge space if needed. We would definitely return if visiting the area again. Thank you Robert and Susan for a wonderful stay in Volcano!

sue didn’t seem to take our safety that serious stating “people who stay here are really nice” when ******* sent everyones room codes out to everyone else and i asked to get mine changed. it was eventually changed but she was way too nonchalant about the mishap when two young girls are traveling alone

A 1927 (according to a write up in the room) plantation home for a “skilled worker”. Cut up in 4-6 rooms. Beautifully decorated and clean and very quiet except for the coqui frogs which I think sound very melodic. Easy parking and access! It is a great stay for volcano watching!

Good location and clean. Looked like they are new owners and our room was just finished.could hear guest next door , needs to insulate doors and would like to have some spoons and glasses to drink from.
