This hotel is a pleasant 1 hour and 45 minute drive from Vientiane. The room was comfortable with a lovely view of the forest. The staff were friendly but not many speak English which is totally OK. The resort makes sure it employs local people from the area which I respect whole heartedly. Fortunately there was a lovely and attentive staff member called Bounthone who ensured I got everything I needed and helped me interpret. I left him a tip to show my appreciation. The manager Mr Xay was friendly and willing to assist when needed.
When I first arrived it was the last day of Pi Mai ( Laos New Year) so it was extremely busy with guests coming up for day trips. The day after was quiet and peaceful.
This time of year is dry season. I was disappointed that there was no water in the river and the waterfall as I was looking forward to a fresh water swim! I recommend a visit in the rainy season!
It was a comfortable stay. The food was okay. I will return when there is water in the river.

Wow!! This place is amazing. We just took a ride from Vientiane only 1 hour 30 minutes. There are plenty of activities for you to discover and enjoy. We tried the Zip lining which was so fantastic. The guys who take care of us are really professional well trained. The room is beautiful over look to the river and forest view. The hotel team Mr Chansamone is helpful and down to the restaurant Mr Bounthone is taking care good of us. We are absolutely recommended this hotel, ourselves will be back here for sure

I like the atmosphere of the beautiful nature, all the staff are friendly and good service, they can guide all our doubts, there are many activities suitable for going on adventure with friends, my friend and I are very satisfied with the vacation, personally I think that the place is a little bit far from the city if there is another chance, I will visit again.

Our family of 4 (kids 12 & 14) have stayed here 4 times now in one of the Executive suites. The privacy and comfort of these rooms for relaxing and the pool with a slide plus other activities makes this a perfect weekend away for us all. Plenty of butterflies too at this time of year.

We had an amazing stay at Nam Pien yorlapa. Even though we went during rainy season, it's just a lovely place to rest and relax in the nature. The facilities are modern and clean (loved the pool!) and the staff welcoming. Thanks again Xai and , all the staff for taking care of us and allowing us to focus on the special forest location with all our needs seen to.

HIDDEN GEM - Found this place totally by accident late one night ---. Such a friendly greeting as we had not booked and it was late. Quickly russled up snacks and coffee before checking in for a much needed sleep in the beautiful well appointed chalets hidden in the jungle. The morning awakening in this tropical forest is so in tune with nature. Fabulous breakfast spread by the pool in the forest. Such a good place to relax that we decided to stay another night. So many great activities or just walk in the natural wonder. Fabulous accommodating staff from the managers thru to the gate staff , super clean luxury modern chalets (tried two types) and great food. Every time I return to Laos from now on I will relax on my last night here before the two drive back to Vientiane.

We had an amazing stay in Nampien, the forest and wood bridges are amazing to spend time in nature and watch wildlife, the food was good, the pool very nice especially during that really hot time, the rooms are amazing, just above the river, and the staff was great, especially Xai who help us the hole time of our stay, thanks a lot to him. You can have forest walk, experience the zipline or just Chill to the pool, there is a place for anyone in Nampien yorlapa. Thanks everyone
