Nam Pien Yorla Pa

This hotel is a pleasant 1 hour and 45 minute drive from Vientiane. The room was comfortable with a lovely view of the forest. The staff were friendly but not many speak English which is totally OK. The resort makes sure it employs local people from the area which I respect whole heartedly. Fortunately there was a lovely and attentive staff member called Bounthone who ensured I got everything I needed and helped me interpret. I left him a tip to show my appreciation. The manager Mr Xay was friendly and willing to assist when needed. When I first arrived it was the last day of Pi Mai ( Laos New Year) so it was extremely busy with guests coming up for day trips. The day after was quiet and peaceful. This time of year is dry season. I was disappointed that there was no water in the river and the waterfall as I was looking forward to a fresh water swim! I recommend a visit in the rainy season! It was a comfortable stay. The food was okay. I will return when there is water in the river.

This was the most amazing resort I have ever been to. We planned to stay one week initially but extended for 4 more days since we just felt the perfect vibe there. If you are looking for a relaxing and beautiful place in the middle of a jungle, with food of greatest quality and access to a bunch of activities, all for a very moderate price, this is the place to go. I actually couldnt imagine anything better than it was, beside maybe a gym 555 Staff was overall very friendly and helpful. But Ms. Moukda just excelled in her area. With her hearth warming approach she made a great time even more memorable. Similar counts for Mr. Chansamone. With his big smile and his great attitude he made us specially feeling at home every time we came in contact with him. This place is one of the few that actually feel and look even better than it did on the pictures. And thats actually a challenge, since the pictures already looking simply amazing. Thank you to the whole team, the chefs, the thai milk tea maker, all the staff caring about the environment and whoever contributes to the wellbeing of the customers aswell. *a very satisfied customer

This place is so beautiful, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy. I had a great time, and it felt like a detox experience. We did many activities. The tour guides are really professional. Mr Khai is best. Also thank you for the best welcome from Mr Xay.Mone, Chansamone and all staff for their great hospitality . We highly recommend and definitely come back here again
