I booked a 3-day, 2-night stay through the Trips app and extended it for another night at the hotel counter. I’ve stayed here multiple times before without any issues, and I’ve always been satisfied with my stays.
On the second day of my stay, we did not request housekeeping, and we took the room key card with us all day. However, when we returned to the room around 5 PM, we discovered that someone had entered the room and did some (light) cleaning, even though we hadn’t authorized it. That day, I had left some cash in my suitcase, and when I checked, I found that some money was missing (about 1/10th of the total amount).
I reported this to the hotel owner , but their response was limited. They simply said they would inquire with housekeeping, but there was no follow-up or further explanation.
Although I’ve had positive experiences staying here in the past, this incident has left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning to this hotel. I hope the hotel will take this feedback into account and improve both safety measures and communication with guests.
Additionally, we did not leave the hotel key card in the room during the day, but when we returned, I noticed that a plastic card (commonly used for SIM cards) had been inserted in place of the key card (as shown in the attached picture)
