528 Victoria Falls Guest House

Amazing stay! So welcoming, in a beautiful building with a rooftop pool, and very close to Vic Falls. Safe and close enough to walk. The staff helped with transportation, reservations and recommendations. Lila, the house golden retriever, made it perfect for our daughters.

Upon arrival I was blown away by the building, the architecture is beautiful. A timeless class to the building, fit and décor. Despite being in love with the building, the best part is the people. The warm welcome (despite us turning up way before we had said), a clear explanation of accommodation, in detail help planning our time at Victoria Falls to make the most of it, recommendations, help booking and sorting out logistics. Thank you to all the team for roles they played in our stay, we were blown. Cannot recommend enough!

The 528 Guest house in Victoria Falls is a very cozy and family operated place. Build with passion by the owner, the place is filled with warmth and friendliness. The rooms are nice and comfortable, decorated with love and detail. The terrace is a fantastic place for breakfast in the morning and the rooftop terrace with the honor bar a great place for sundowners. The family, Meredith, Paul, William, Clara and Theresa love to help organizing activities. They organized a local dinner at the Dusty Road Township Experience which is a much more intimate experience that the Drum Show. They organized dinner for us as well as a safe driver that lifted us to the different places. Thanks also to Meredith for organizing wonderful breakfast bags for our early departure.

Absolutely outstanding stay! The house is beautiful - we stayed in the family suite and loved the private spaces and multiple bathrooms. The breakfasts were excellent - plentiful, tasty, and flexible on your schedule. We spent far too little time on the roof top bar :( Finally, the staff was superb. Special thanks to Theresa who helped us navigate transportation and provided recommendations for restaurants that were spot on.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast to stay at in Victoria Falls with lovely decor throughout and super friendly staff. The rooms were pleasant with views of the gardens - some have small balconies. The rooftop honour bar is a nice place to sit with its view out to the Falls but we preferred to lie by the pool with resident Labrador keeping us company. Breakfast was set by the pool for us and absolutely delicious. 528 is a great location to explore all the activities Victoria Falls has to offer and an inexpensive taxi service is provided. You just have to book it with one of the staff when you know where you want to go. The owners have a wealth of knowledge about the area as they have lived there for several years. It is worth pointing out that there are a lot of stairs which could be difficult to manage for anyone with a mobility issue. Normally this would not be a problem for me but I had severely hurt my knee on Safari (dancing!) and I did struggle a bit. As they were booked out I couldn't change my room but was able to manage. Just be aware. There is a shop very close by where you can pick up some delicious cheese and biscuits / snacks at a reasonable cost. It is also very safe to walk around during the day just watch out for the naughty baboons. We dined at Vic Falls Safari Lodge, Cassia, Victoria Falls Hotel and 3 Monkeys - all completely different and all delicious. Elephants serenaded us on the road on our final night as we left our dinner at the Safari Lodge. Can't beat that!

Lovely hotel. Great breakfast (order what you want from the waiter but also some cereals, muffins, yogurt, etc. ). Great outdoor terraces. Nice large room. There is a pool (but I didn't use it). They have a fantastic and VERY friendly Golden Retriever that lives on site. Personalized service.... they can make arrangements for you (e.g. helicopter rides).... and recommend restaurants. Close to town center ($4USD taxi ride). Would stay again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend.
