Ulasan Hotel Canal & Walter

Bonjour, Le pire hôtel dans lequel j'ai était. Mobiliers vétustes et cassés, murs et plafonds sales, rideaux mal fixés et risquant de tomber, hygiène des plus douteuses, prises électriques mal fixées.... Pour un site de réservation comme le votre, il est inadmissible que vous puissiez proposer de telles hôtels. J'espère que vous aurez la courtoisie d'un geste commercial. The Canal & Walter is extremely old. I understand that…BUT…updates have not been made in YEARS AND YEARS. The young staff at the front desk are great. The gentleman running breakfast couldn’t be better. ROOM 102 The bathroom has black mold - there is a window in the shower with a curtain rod BUT NO CURTAIN. So the window is rotting and moldy. The shower head is broken. The bathroom has a floor drain but when new tile was installed MANY YEARS AGO the drain was not raised so it is an extremely bad trip hazard. There are NO towel rods. There are no safety handles in the slick tub/shower. Entering the bathroom there is a 3-4” step - another trip hazard. The furnishings, from the 1960’s, in this room are totaling worn out. There is only one luggage rack so the only option is to use one of the two chairs or the small desk. This is very inconvenient. When scanning the room for items we might have missed in packing, we found garbage under the bed. The breakfast is sufficient. I would give one star out if 5, at best. The smell of bug spray was so overwhelming that it seemed toxic. The air conditioning unit did not work so unknowingly we opening the windows for some fresh air only to wake up with dozens or more mosquito bites. We stayed 3 nights. The 2nd night we closed the windows and relied on the air conditioning unit. After a long night of restless hot sleep, we left for the day only to return to find the UNIT WAS TURNED OFF by the staff.

The hotel is closed to train station.

La ubicación es muy buena, y l habitación con baño privado daba al gran Canal, frente a la estación. Sin embargo, el hotel está un poco dejado… los cables sueltos… el baño limpio y las camas correctas.

Al lopen richting het hotel was het lachen om een vervallen rood hotel met houten letters. Het bleek ons hotel. Drie nachten verbleven in kamer 311. 3de verdieping, telkens 67 treden want geen lift. De inrichting was oud/iraliaans en leek in niets op de foto's op de site. Bij het boeken gevraagd om twee aparte bedden en bij voorkeur een bad. Het bed was gedekt als dubbel en een bad bleek een douche van 70x70cm met vieze plastic vouwdeurtjes. Ook het ontbijt dat inclusief was viel tegen. In het weekend waren na 9 uur de borden, kopjes en messen op en het was zoeken naar een plaatsje om te zitten. Misschien verwachtte ik teveel voor 63 euro per nacht in Venetië, maar meer is het ook zeker niet waard.

This is very old hotel with rundown condition. Room WiFi service was not totally unable to connect throughout the stay. There was no lift and we have to manually carry our luggage. First day of arrive, we were give a room a third floor which totally unexpected without having a lift to carry out belongings manually. After request front desk staff, we were given another room at Hotel Air One which is next building to Hotel Canal and Walter. But there was no lift too and room TV was not working at all. Hotel Air One is extremely old and we didn’t see any guests at all. Next day, we managed to get a room at 1st floor in Hotel Canal and Walter. For family, I don’t recommend this hotel.

Soggiorno da incubo. Struttura vecchia e fatiscente. Bagni piccoli e con scarichi della doccia rotti: il ristagno dell’acqua provoca nella stanza un odore vomitevole. Arredamento che lascia molto a desiderare. Sulle pareti c’è una carta da parati in tessuto, mai stata cambiata, che trattiene odori e sporco. La colazione servita a buffet con carta velina sopra al cibo, lascia intendere gli svariati giorni passati da quando è stata preparata e messa in frigo. Cornetti immangiabili, vecchi. Pessimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Non si salva niente. Solo la posizione dell’hotel.

It was really bad experience, it was dirties hotel ever, service was awful
