Ad Hoc Carmen

Located in a short quiet pedestrianised street (with the occasional vehicle, this hotel is as central as possible. It is therefore close to numerous bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is attractive and basic but offers comfortable accommodation. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

Woken up every morning EARLY to the sound of cleaners shouting outside my room, and constantly dragging heavy furniture along the floor repeatedly. Throwing bin bags up against my door. Unsure why this started so early as my room would not be turned until 4pm. Cleaners do not lock the doors after cleaning the room even though I specifically requested this. The walls are paper thin I could hear the people next to me dropping things on the floor, plugging their charger in, screaming at eachother. Absolutely impossible place to relax. Bedlam.

To start with, the Hotel staff was great. Very helpful, friendly and supportive. Thank you!! Said that, even the best staffing and greatest location of a hotel is not able to rock it if the hotel itself does not meet basic standards. I clearly missed hygenic standards. The Towels in the bathroom were so old and „done“ that it felt disgusting using them. The shower was full of mold. After 2 days of our stay the cleaning ladies tried to get rid of, with limited success. Those things need to get done regularly! The bed was shaking and moved with every single movement. Never had such a low budget bed. We tried to avoid moving during the night. The comfort of the bed is personal taste, but clearly not met mine. The hotel was extremely loud and we could hear each word of our neighbors. They were not speaking loud, however the hotel walls are so thin. The entire hotel building is from the 15th century and the mentioned areas seems to meet the same decade, which is a petty, as if tge would invest some more love to detail on above areas + the nice staffing they already have, the hotel could easily a great place to be.

Great little hotel in a prime location. Really can’t fault this place. The family room was spread over two floors with a bed, wardrobe and bathroom on one floor and then upstairs a bedroom, large balcony (very safe) , bathroom and large landing area with pull out bunk beds. The stairs are quite steep in the room. Reception were extremely helpful. We’d usually stay in a big 4 star hotel but the best locations are the little hotels in the old town. This is a great choice.

Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Posizione centralissima e comoda vicina ai più importanti monumenti della città è ai mezzi pubblici. Personale gentile e disponibile. Un po' spartani l'arredamento e la stanza, ma se ti serve solo come appoggio per dormire è l'ideale. Lo consiglio.

Hotel centralissimo proprio dietro Plaza de la Virgen in una viuzza molto silenziosa ma vicino a moltissime attività. L’hotel è essenziale, forse troppo, passi la mancanza di un armadio ma sarebbe stato gradito un frigo ed il phon e magari qualche prodotto per la doccia in più. Pulizia da rivedere, ho trovato un po’ di polvere sulla scrivania. Personale molto cortese, un plus per la ragazza italiana alla reception ed il fatto che sia aperta h24. Ho gradito molto il servizio di chiamata del taxi. Nel complesso lo consiglio ma con qualche attenzione in più otterrebbe più stelle.
