It's a good hotel for family and people who want near darling harbour but in cheaper price.

Great price and location close to Haymarket and Darling Harbour area. Easy walking distance took us less then 10mins to Chinatown. Hotel was beautifully appointed, bed very comfy and clean. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, baked beans, toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and pastries. OJ, Tea and instant coffee. Perfect!
Parking was a 1 minute walk away and $25 for 24 hours over the weekend with plenty of spaces available - not sure if its more on weekdays.
Would definitely book again.

Perfect choice for an hotel in Sydney. As for price is a very good deal considering the average in the city. They have an agreement with a near parking lot (no need to book for that).

We were allowed to check in early which was great because we were so tired. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Central Station and Haymarket. Breakfast was wonderful.

The hotel is convenient for Central station, UTS and the University of Sydney. The room was small and basic but clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good.

Don't be fooled from the exterior, inside is an old ambiance but the rooms are modern . My room was equipt with a kitchenette area as well as ensuite. Plenty of room.

First stay at the Vulcan Hotel and it was very nice! The room matched the pictures in the previews. The place was clean and service was as expected for a professional hotel - seamless, easy and friendly. We stayed in the superior queen bedroom and the ensuite was adequate - clean. It was small and a little challenging for larger guests, but comfortable. Tv was limited to free tv and only some channels - Netflix and others available if you’re willing to sign in for yourself.
Only complaints were hearing traffic through closed windows. A bit of a constant dull buzzing from the city life. Bed was clean and nice, however very soft which is not to our liking (either rolling in or out from each other and feeling every movement).
Overall, close to dining and shopping if willing to walk about 10 mins. Parking was reasonably easy at the UTS underground park, a 7 minute walk. Very nice hotel and would absolutely stay there again happily.
