Hotel Bella Vista

An absolute gem of a hotel. From the moment I arrived to leaving it was a pleasure to be there. The family run hotel is as good as it gets. Fantastic food, excellent service and what a location. I die to my own stupidity left an item of clothing in my room. The owner, Petra, arranged for it to be returned to me in Scotland. Nothing is too much effort. I can not wait to return. The hospitality is exactly what you expect in this part of the world.

Our family spent the last carnival holidays at the Hotel Bella Vista and we would like to share our enthusiasm: Everything was great! The unique location of the hotel with the beautiful view of the mountains positively affect the soul, fresh air and sun also contribute to the inner harmony. Thanks to the family atmosphere, which the Thöni family lovingly give to the guests in their hotel, each of us really felt homelike. At the end of February this year it was so warm, the sun was shining so intensely, that the snow has noticeably decreased in one week. Nevertheless, we had a lot of fun on the slopes (in Trafoj as well as in Sulden). By the way, many families come here to teach their children skiing: In a few meters from the hotel there is a ski school and the children are professionally assisted, while their parents explore the higher slopes with the ski lift. Every evening after the sporty day we enjoyed the newly built outdoor sauna with panoramic window. On several days there were professional infusions, which contributed even more to relaxation with the view of the magnificent mountain scenery. In addition to the sauna, there was a hot whirlpool and a small lake, where you could jump into the really ice-cold water after the infusion. Meanwhile, our children had so much fun in the heated infinity pool, indescribably amazing! We especially liked the evening wine tasting, conducted by Stephan Gander. For tasting he offered the guests the great wines from South Tyrol and told a lot about the history of this special viniculture region. At the end there was a test: the guests could smell the small bottles with different scents and guess what kind of taste it was. The in-house restaurant, which serves a wide choice of food and drinks for breakfasts and first-class dinners, is a world-class restaurant. Plentiful, delicious and unique! Before going to bed we enjoyed the last minutes of the day with a glass of wine by the fireside on the leather sofa. So we will certainly be back!

Stopped here for lunch while driving on the Stelvio-pass from the Dolomites to Lake Como (roughly half way). Lovely spot with a nice terrace and garden. Wonderful views of the glacier in front. I loved the "Zoodles" aka Zucchini noodles. Really lovely spot, I hope to come back.

personale gentilissimo nonostante sia una persona nota anche gustav thoni swle lo incroci e molto disponibile per quanto riguarda il cibo tutto buonissimo grande attenzione ai particolari e seppur mantenendo una atmosfera familiare e tutto adeguato ai prezzi che sono più che onesti per il servizio offerto

Abbiamo passato le vacanze di Pasqua al Bella Vista con i nostri figli di 5 e 9 anni ed è stata un Pasqua speciale grazie all’atmosfera magica che ci ha regalato questa struttura già dal risveglio con vista pazzesca sui ghiacciai. I bambini si sono divertiti tantissimo grazie alle attività del miniclub e ai grandi spazi dedicati a loro ricchi di giochi. Pista sciatori principianti di fronte l’hotel, impianti per le altre piste a pochi minuti a piedi. Noi adulti abbiamo apprezzato molto, oltre alla cucina eccellente e gourmet, anche la zona wellness con saune, bagno turco, idromassaggio, piscina riscaldata, immersa nella natura di un panorama da cartolina. Stanze spaziose e pulite, tutto ben curato e la famiglia Thoni e tutto il personale sempre molto cordiale e disponibile. Grande attenzione anche a chi mangia senza glutine, con pane e piatti dedicati e cestino a tavola a colazione con prodotti senza glutine. Ritorneremo sicuramente.

Eravamo venuti con la curiosità di vedere ed incontrare un uomo leggendario dello sport e della cultura sportiva ma ho trovato molto di più !! Qui si trova ospitalità vera nella cultura della montagna , nello spirito essenziale ma completissimo e nell’ Italian Style !! Tutto con un impronta familiare che fa parte dei nostri valori Complimenti sinceri , grati per l’esperienza che ci avete riservato Gratitudine per quello che il Grandissimo Gustav ci ha riservato dagli anni delle medaglie vinte con gli sci ai piedi , alla attività di ospitalità che continua con la sua famiglia ed il suo team Un particolare apprezzamento per Stefan che con passione , attraverso una essenziale e completa degustazione di vini locali fornisce eccellenti spunti storici/ culturali sull’ essere sud/tirolesi ed italiani nella storia e nell’ attualità Grazie di cuore e soprattutto Arrivederci

Der perfekte Ort zum entspannen und genießen. In der neuen Panorama-Sauna oder im beheizten Außenpool genießt man eine Atemberaubende Aussicht. Die Küche hat uns begeistert mit täglich wechselnden Menüs mit zusätzlichen, tollen vegetarischen Variationen. Fantastische Interpretationen von klassischen Gerichte mit hochwertigen Zutaten und eine ausgesuchte Weinkarte. Ideal als Paar oder als Familie mit einer perfekten Kinderbetreuung. Petra und Stephan sind perfekte Gastgeber und das Servicepersonal ist extrem aufmerksam. Wir kommen wieder!!!

Direi che è un piccolo gioiellino, con una visita spettacolare, ai piedi dello Stelvio, la struttura ha un che di vintage e moderno, un fascino particolare, lo staff gentilissimo, una cucina eccellente, siamo stati benissimo, lo consiglio vivamente.
