This is the second time I've stayed at Heathcliff House (so far). Each stay has been in a different room, but both rooms I've been in have been really well decorated and maintained. The breakfast is amazing (I had a cooked breakfast every day!) Alex and Stacey are the best hosts I've come across, (and I've stayed in a lot of places). Nothing is too much trouble for them, they will try their best for any request and are genuinely really lovely people. I loved my stay and although I've only been back a couple of days, I'm already thinking of going back 🙂 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service. You won't regret booking a stay here. Thank you Alex and Stacey. See you soon.

We had the most perfect weekend here the rooms were large impeccably clean breakfast was top drawer cooked to the highest standard all locally sourced and a lot of it . The hosts Alex and Stacey they are the most perfect couple amazing host. We have stayed in quite a lot of places in Torquay and I can honestly say Alex and Stacey are by far the best people we have met they really made our weekend perfect I can’t praise them enough. We will be back soon. Again Alex and Stacey we thank you. Alex and Stacey were lovely, I felt very at ease during my stay. The beds were really comfortable, enjoyable breakfast (especially the mushrooms!) Very good knowledge about different sites/places to visit and some good tips on nice coffee places

We just had a 4 night stay in Torquay and we got lucky because we checked into Heathcliff House managed by Alex and Stacey. The rooms are all good and the breakfast selection is brilliant. Parking is fee and we used the excellent local bus service to get around, with bus stops right outside. We have stayed in Devon many times and now that we have found these great hosts we will be coming back soon. Thank you both for a perfect little holiday. Steve and Maureen Smith. Yateley, Hampshire.

A great b/b run by Alex & Stacey who do everything to make your stay memorable the breakfast sets you up for the day the large bedrooms are spotless with tea & coffee facilities.There is a bar available with plenty of car parking space with a bus stop outside & Torre railway station only 100 metres away, we will be back when in the area.

A very warm welcome awaits you on arrival, the room was bright comfortable and spacious with tea & coffee , fridge, fresh milk and ample wardrobe space. A fantastic breakfast with an abundance of cereals, fresh fruit and pastries alongside a choice of full English breakfast items to kickstart your day. Close to all amenities and shops with easy access to Paignton Brixham and beyond. The hosts very attentive and on hand to ensure your stay is an enjoyable experience. .

Lovely historic hotel. Excellent service by owners, they couldn’t do enough to help. Very clean bedroom and bathroom. Excellent place to stay close to everything in town bus at the door, breAkfast available for those that wish it, locally sourced. Our room was large with a nice view. Bed was a bit lumpy but we still slept.

We stayed at Heathcliff House for four days in early October and were delighted with our spacious room with crisp white sheets and towels. The electric shower was very easy to use. The whole house was very clean and breakfast was amazing. Free parking is available and there is a bus stop just outside so you can leave the car behind and get to local places without the hassle of parking. We are vegetarians but usually we just have a full English minus the meat but Stacey persuaded us to try the vegetarian sausages and they were superb and very tasty, well worth trying. The breakfast was well presented and delicious providing fresh fruit, pastries and cereals as well as Full English. Stacey and Alex were excellent hosts and looked after us well. Alex recommended several places to dine out and we can recommend the Devon Dumpling and The Barn Owl. You must also try Hanburys Fish and Chips at Babbacombe. I really recommend Heathcliff House and must thank Stacey and Alex for a first class service making our stay perfect.

Me and my partner were welcomed by Alex who was very polite, friendly and informative as soon as we walked through the door. Himself and his lovely wife Stacey did an amazing breakfast and the room was so comfortable and clean, plus, they had a fan in the wardrobe which was much needed in this heat! They couldn't do enough for us or the other guests and they are so down to earth!..we will be revisiting again that's for sure. The beach is literally a 15 minute stroll or there's bus stops outside going down to the marina or take a ride and explore places like Newton Abbot. Either way it's a very convenient place for a B&B and well worth the stay!

Looking to book a long weekend for BH August, we found this with a couple rooms spare... A Victorian building with high ceilings, compact bedrooms with en-suites. The price was fair, the hotel friendly & breakfast choice ideal for our needs

A lovely B&B / guest house Room very comfortable at a good price & great location- walked everywhere!!! Hosts Alex & Stacey are super friendly and nothing too much trouble for them!! Very good and ample breakfast with great local produce.. We will definitely be back again next year!!! Highly recommend!

Lovely B&B close to the main town and sea front. I was there on business for 2 days but I was still welcomed like any other guest. From the minute I got there Alex met me, made me feel right at home and was brilliant from start to finish. Nothing was a problem and even got a flask of fresh milk for a well needed cup of tea. I never got chance to sample their breakfast as I was out early but it smelt amazing. The room was lovely, clean, well decorated and had everything I needed. The bed was big and very comfortable and the shower was awesome. Parking on site was no problem and free, the B&B itself was easy to spot and get into. I’ll be recommending this place to all my friends and colleagues and I’ll be using this place again whenever I have to visit Torquay. What impressed me the most though was the thought and care shown when I had to leave earlier than expected. I had taken a call from home to tell me one of my children had been taken ill. Alex was just brilliant, being very supportive and for that reason alone I’d give this place 5 stars let alone any of the above. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Alex and Stacey are the perfect hosts, from checking in to checking out nothing was too much trouble. We arrived before check in time but as the room was ready Alex made us more than welcome We booked a standard room , room was clean and provided everything we required, tea and coffee and a flask of fresh milk which is a lovely touch rather than the little pots. Another nice touch is the radio alarm with usb to charge mobiles. Toiletries provided in nice bottles of those little ones , Breakfast is to die for, my husband not a breakfast person but really enjoyed his, quality produce well cooked and presented, a lovely smell to greet you in the mornings. Plenty of plug sockets and a proper hairdryer not the one you have to hold the button down on attached to a wall. Bus stop outside that takes you to places around the bay, you can get a day saver and hop on and off the bus all day which was useful. Guest house well positioned for lots of pubs and restaurants and the beach around a 20 min walk ( we are older so walk slower,) Free car park , CCTV protected ,other facilities a bar , drinking water and decking to have outside experience too. you really would enjoy your stay ( Torbay Taxis near too, reasonable price, fast service and really nice drivers ) we had a great week highly recommended
