After complaining to the front desk, they arranged for other staff to remind guests to smoke outside. Fortunately our room was not bothered by smoke, although the hallway smelled strongly of smoke. To make matters worse, the door to the breakfast restaurant was crowded with smokers, and whenever the door opened or closed, I was forced to inhale the unpleasant smell of cigarettes while sitting by the door. It is recommended that hotels set up designated smoking areas away from lobbies and restaurants, strengthen employee training, proactively inform employees of the no-smoking policy and strictly enforce it. The quality of those smoking guests is really embarrassing for Chinese people.
