Ulasan Hotel Hoshi Kai Kan

I stayed on Dec 1-3 with a friend and we totally loved this hotel. The host kindly explained to us everything about the facilities and the rules and gave each of us 2 pairs of slippers (for the room and the corridor/toilet area). Also free wi-fi and comfortable check-out time (11:00, which lets you to calmly have a breakfast and prepare the baggage). Amazing location near several metro stations. Room had enough space and was very lovely and comfortable, public toilet and bathroom were clean. Also in the shared area of the hall there was a big table, hot water, free instant coffee, milk and tea. Also the microwave. I'm planning to stay here again next time beacause this was one of the best hotels with a low price I've visited on my trip.

It's my first time to stay in this hotel, it's very good hotel and super great location because it's very near to 2 metro stations (Bakuroyokoyama station & Higashi Nihombashi), so it's very convenient to go anywhere. At the Metro station also have elevator and can easily walk from the station Exit to hotel). The hotel also have elevator for going up to 5th floor), then can meet friendly staff to welcome. In the hotel, also have free coffee and water provided. For the other drinks like beer and soft drinks, we can buy there. I really enjoy to stay in this hotel, so I continue to stay here another 2 days before moving to other cities.

This is the second time is stayed in this hotel . Highly recommended for travellers in a budget . It’s similar in pricing as a hostel but you get your own room and privacy in the middle of Tokyo

We ended up not staying at this hotel because we couldn’t check in since the staff is not there after 2230. Our bullet train Tohoku Shinkansen route was delayed for around 9 hours due to high winds. We didn’t get to Tokyo until about 0100. I had to book a different hotel for the same night. I asked for a refund but was denied. Kinda sad but I guess it is what it is. Wasn’t the hotel’s fault but I was hoping to get a break. Make sure you read the fine print on this hotel BEFORE you book it. Staff availability, not shower or toilet inside of the room. No 24 hr staff. Be careful!!!!!!

Pros: almost any disposable amenities for free (tea, sugar, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush etc). Microware, water dispenser. Spacious room, with sofa and TV. There were two of us, and it was very convenient for us with a lot of space. Hotel is very close to metro station (about 2 minutes). Stuff are very friendly, English-speaking. Also they have library of manga and massage chair. Cons: bathrooms are not perfectly clean, a little bit of mess if here (hairs for example). Elevator works only from 22.30 to 5.00, it could be problematic if you try to go earlier or later with baggage or if you are disabled person. In that case you will have no other choice than use stairways to 5th floor Conclusion: I would definitely stop there one more time, very cheap and very convenient and cozy

Clean hotel in convenient location close to subway station. Cheaper than most of the accommodation in central Tokyo. I booked a single room without a window and it had everything I needed for my short stay - basic but good. Would stay there again. 

Actually quite a pleasant one for one quick night sleep if you consider the budget of even lower than a normal capsule hotel in the heart of Tokyo where several subways and JR lines meet and guess what, just 1 hour to Narita airport and 35 mins to Haneda both without any need to change trains. The front desk even waited until 11pm due to late arrival and still explained the rules and services in detail. Yes some parts of the room seemed quite dated and not well maintained, but think twice for the price you paid.

They changed my room to a room with a window, thanks for that. The room without a window is too damp and smelly

Excellent location, accessible to restaurants, convenience stores and transportations.

A great place, I wish I could’ve been there when I first arrived. The space was very clean and big enough plus most main places were close enough.
