Hotel MAÑET

The restaurant here is just gorgeous. The best view, food and Rose! We visited a few times for lunch and dishes we had include mixed paella, burger, anchovies, Caesar salad, nachos, calamari to name but a few. The cocktails are gorgeous and we can recommend the Rose and Cava. Prices are so reasonable especially compared to the UK. The staff are very welcoming and what we loved is the space on the terrace - there is so much room between the tables and no rush to move you on. You will also be hard pushed to find a better view. Just gorgeous.

We have breakfast & lunch once or twice a week for our 7 week holiday. The food is always good. These members of staff have been most helpful over the last couple of years. Mika, Carolina, Gabriel, Roxana, Ricardo &Lilly. We love the views and often bring friends & family. If you want a good value breakfast with stunning views & smiling staff. This is the place you must visit.

Absolutely spotless , the hotel team were so helpful and friendly. This hotel is small , personal and for adults only . We have stayed here twice now and will return next year . We had a fabulous holiday. I don’t have much negativity about this hotel , only I will say breakfast is quite limited, it is served to you and not buffet style , it was the same continental choice every day and definitely lacking in fruit , yogurt and cereal choice . The cooked part of the menu is cooked on order and my husband couldn’t fault this but I’m not a big cooked breakfast person so choice was limited and I ended up buying my own fruit and taking it down to breakfast with me . The other thing I might mention is the uncomfortable sun loungers , I think they have been well used and are a bit saggy now ( bit like me !) I felt like I was lying on bars . Please do not let this put u off , it’s a fabulous hotel with THE most fabulous team running it and looking after it and guests , honestly nothing is a problem for them . Literally NO PROBLEMO . Very enjoyable delicious breakfast with good quality ingredients in a picturesque location overlooking the sea at El Portet beach. Efficient & friendly staff with very quick service. Excellent value for money, we will be going again soon!

Average food. Extremely rude waitress. My friend is learning Spanish and was trying to use Spanish. The waitress rolled her eyes and said just use English, really meanly, embarrassing my friend and was just really uncalled for. Order was wrong too, I'd recommend to avoid.

We have once again had a wonderful stay at The Manet. The well appointed rooms are lovely with sea/pool views from the balcony. It’s fantastic to have the pool a few footsteps from our room with the beautiful beach a few footsteps on again. Breakfast is a delight with meats, cheese, fruit, croissants and cooked breakfast (love the omelettes!) if wanted. All the staff are so attentive and helpful and big shout out to Fellie - our breakfast angel! Thank you also to the lovely Janna, Mikah, Marcus and Gabe and of course Mari. We’ll return again to Magnifico Manet! Sharon
