位置很好，離城中很近，對面就是湖。房間設施齊全，可以做飯，有洗衣房，住的很舒服。每天有人打掃，也可以選擇不用打掃，看客人的需要而定。

There are many good things to say about this property. Sadly the internet and tv are not among them. We had no internet for most of our stay. The few tv channels are at best abysmal. Parking can be tricky if the motel is full. We had a one bedroom unit which we really liked. It had a very nice modern bathroom with a large walk in shower. The kitchen although smallish was well kitted out. Also a comfortable sitting area including chairs outside the unit. Not much of a view of the lake but we were steps away from the lake which had a terrific esplanade that went for miles. It was an easy walk into town for shopping. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Lots of fresh towels if needed. The bed was comfortable and the electric blanket was an added bonus for a comfortable sleep. We liked our stay in spite of the other nuisance stuff which shouldn’t be. This is the age of technology and crappy internet and tv is no longer the norm or acceptable.

Great location, right across from Te Anau Lake. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. Good facilities.

Room 6 ( unrenovated) was very tired and ordinary. Admitally it was clean and functional. However, carpets worn, shower mat frayed, no bedside power points and bedroom light so dull, reading was not possible. Sorry, not worth the asking price.

We stayed one night at the Edgewater Motel on our way to visit Milford Sound in March 2024. At the time we were at the hotel, we saw no one in reception. An envelope taped to the door of the office explained how to find the key. (We had prepaid an internet booking.) However, we got into our rooms and were quite pleased. Our unit appeared to have been very recently update. Although the basic layout is a little odd--the only door is a sliding glass door that opens onto the parking lot/driveway. Very nice decor. Loved the chic bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchenette was wonderful, although it lacked a stovetop. There was, however, an electric fry pan, which we used to prepare breakfast. The location is great--close to the center of town and right on the lake, as the name suggests.

Staff were excellent and extremely helpful. One bedroom suites were nicely upgraded. Two bedroom suite had great privacy and lovely windows but is in dire need of an upgrade.

OUR FAMILY STAYED AT THE EDGEWATER MOTEL FOR TWO NIGHTS. WE WANT TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION TO THE HOST OF THIS FACILITY. OUR ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE BEDS WERE VERY NICE. THE KITCHEN AREA WAS ALSO VERY CLEAN AND QUITE ACCOMMODATING TO OUR NEEDS FOR BREAKFAST AND SNACKS. WE LOVED THE LARGE SHOWER AREA IN THE CLEAN AND SPACIOUS BATHROOM. WE REALLY APPRECIATED HOW QUIET OUR ROOM WAS AT NIGHT. THE SHORT DISTANCE TO THE TOWN CENTRE WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE, SO WE THINK THE LOCATION OF THIS MOTEL WAS PERFECT.... WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL FOR ANY THAT ARE TRAVELING TO TE ANAU.

Awesome location. There was no staff available on site. The locks on one of the windows was broken. Shower pressure was weak. Bathroom fixtures were old.

The office was unattended for our entire stay. Upon arrival, we discovered our check-in details taped to the office door, advising us that our key was on the coffee table in our room. We did not have any cereal bowls or any sugar and, as the office was unattended, we couldn’t request either. We had to eat cereal out of coffee mugs!! Very ordinary.

We stayed in room 1 and found it to be modernised and clean, a short walk to everything in the town. Two of us but it can sleep 4 if you don’t mind those in the lounge accessing the bathroom via the main bedroom. No stovetop but had an electric hot plate. No staff on-site due to general service labour shortages but that didn’t impact us and they were very responsive when we messaged. Overall we had a comfortable stay.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is brilliant - right across the road from the lake with views all round. We were able to use laundry facilities and although there was no staffed reception, there were friendly people working there who helped us with the laundry.

No staff on site when we checked in but they had made arrangements for us to get into our room. Luckily we had no issues that required help from staff. The one thing that should be addressed is a plumbing issue that creates a bad smell in the room (the kitchenette sink did not have a p-trap so smells from the pipes were escaping into the room when the drain stopper was removed.

Plenty of space, separate bedroom, comfy bed, lounge, dining setting. All good.
