Hotel Minerva

I liked how friendly staff was. I also like how clean the property and the room was. Most importantly I loved how staff engaged with me and try to figure out why I was staying in Tamasopo. After some conversation. The manager suggested we should hire a local guide. I had some hesitation since I know Spanish and my parents are from the region. However, after some convincing he suggested we meet the guide. Once we met the guide they gave us an eventful day. We were able to visit local spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Saw the local tourist spots and had a great day! I’m glad the hotel manager was able to have connection and make our stay complete. I will come back and I highly recommend you to stay here!

Gilberto was the nicest person, he answer any question we asked about the area and activities, restaurants and all. We loved how clean all was. We loved all about this hotel

You need to bring cash to pay at the hotel because they don't accept card, only cash, and don't expect an excelent customer service, they're still learning

Excellent hotel with a pool, the owner was really nice, had coffee ready in the mornings and also had a van that would take us and pick us up from the hotel to a house where our friends were staying. Price was reasonable

Overall I liked this hotel. It was clean and comfortable. Our room had an AC unit, a large TV, and 2 comfortable king-sized beds. Our room lacked a mini-fridge, and there were no wash cloths in the bathroom. I also had trouble getting any channels on the TV. The outdoor pool was nice and clean. The hotel didn't accept payment from the credit card I used to reserve our rooms online. Apparently they only accept cash. Fortunately we had enough cash on hand to pay, but they didn't agree with the peso to dollar exchange rate used by Exoedia. We ended up having to pay about $30 more than the ******* listed price.

Very hospitable staff and the property is a gem.

Screen door was broken but hotel owner was prompt to help with a solution.

El hotel esta un poco escondido pero sus instalaciones son excelentes, Gil el recepcionista puso muchísima atención en nuestras necesidades y se esmero por hacernos sentir bien atendidos, hotel muy limpio, las camas y las almohadas son las mas cómodas de cualquier hotel en el que haya estado, la alberca si bien no es climatizada, hace bastante calor por allá y se antoja estar en ella, además es muy bonita y mas en la noche que prenden las luces, tienen asadores a disponibilidad del cliente por si quieres hacer tu carne asada, tienen restaurant y si bien el menú no es muy amplio, tienen un muy buen sazón y la comida es muy rica y las porciones muy generosas para el precio. El único detalle es el wifi o internet, es muy malito! y por lo que me dijeron lo normal es que falle todo el tiempo en todo el pueblo, entonces háganse a la idea de que la tv esta de adorno porque nunca se pudo conectar o que aunque se conecten al wifi la señal de internet es nula. Esta a unos 7 minutos del puente de dios y a unos 15 de las cascadas de Tamasopo. Que si me volvería a hospedar ahi? Claro que si volvería sin dudarlo. Viaje con mi esposa y mis tres hijos y todos quedaron muy contentos con el hotel
