Ulasan Dongmen Hotel

Good stay, value for money. Room big enough for the amount of money and got the privacy I needed. Stair on the way to reception is very steep (compared to what i used to) but they will help you if you really need one. Near to Dongmen station, ~30 meter (exit 6 if i am not mistaken) and within walking distance to CKS memorial, Daan Park and other attractions within the Daan vicinity.

We booked a 6 person room in Dongmen hotel for our taiwan trip and 3 days stay in Taipei. The hotel is strategically located and is less than 50m from Dongmen MRT exit 2. The room has 6 double bed and though it is small, it is comfortable and with coffee and tea and towels provided. The water pressure is good and aircon is cold. Breakfast is not provided but there are many options available a stone thrown away as the hotel is next to Dongmen market. Morning is bustling and you can see locals patronising the stalls. The hotel is near to Yong Kang Street where you can find many interesting shops and is voted as one of the trendiest street in the world. In Taipei city where hotel are expensive, Dongmen hotel is a gem, offering value for money stay in a cosmopolitan city.

Advantages: - location: right nearby Dongmen MRT Gate 1 - next to 7-11 and a local market and Yongkang Park - friendly staffs and neighbours - they have enough things for a stay Disadvantages: - no elevator. Staff will help to carry ur luggage but if you have difficulty with climbing stairs, it will be tough. - no sound proof. You can hear all the sound from the street. - i didn’t ask but they still cleaned my room. In sum, if you’re healthy and want a downtown not-too-expensive place, this hotel is a good choice.

It was clean, but some spots on the wall, but I still give it 10/10 stars because it was an incredibly awesome location for a very fair price. The staff was really friendly!

Pro: Located near the exit 1 of Dong Men MRT. Service from the front desk staff was okay. There’s a 7eleven store right downstairs and it’s next to Dong Men market. Cons: Room smelled of sewage due to the toilet. Bedsheets and cover were kind of dirty with yellow stains on it. Housekeeping was only carried out once during my 5D4N stay there, even so, they did it minimally. Poor soundproofing. No elevator/lift in the building so good luck walking up the steep stairs with your luggage. Overall score 2 out of 5. Personally feel there are better hotels out there with the same price.

Well I wasn't happy AT ALL when I arrived..I read good reviews about it, but honestly not what I expected it....Ac didn't work well . And on top of all 100 usd per night

In the city center, but there is no elevator and the toilet is super small!! It will be troublesome for outsiders to live here. There is a morning market and a convenience store downstairs. It is 2 minutes away from the MRT. You can go to Daan Forest Park to enjoy the flowers during the flower season. Yongkang Street is nearby, which is convenient for traveling and eating delicious food.

The biggest advantage of Dongmen Hotel is that it is only a one-minute walk from the MRT station. There is a 7-Eleven downstairs, which is very convenient. Since we came here temporarily for work and just wanted to stay overnight without any big luggage, our requirements for accommodation are not high. The price is reasonable and suitable for non-picky light travelers.

It is near Exit 1 of Dongmun Station, so it is easily accessible, and the bathroom and accommodation are clean and the counter staff who speak simple English are friendly. However, the shocking staircase feast (I had to drag my suitcase up the 4th floor to get to the elevator) and the lack of Wi-Fi... It is inside the market, so it is noisy from the early morning... And the fact that there is almost no hot water... Come prepared They said I had to wait 10 minutes for hot water, so I waited for 10 minutes, but after that, the hot water came out for only about 5 minutes, and then suddenly cold water came out.

I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. First of all, the best thing was It's close to the subway. Also, there are many delicious restaurants around, and the location was the biggest advantage. Secondly, the owner and staff are very kind. My image of ********* people has greatly improved. The room was cleaner than I thought, and it's a good hotel for the low price. I will use it again. The reservation this time was quite cheap. I stayed in the room type in front of 3F. The following is 7_11 The sound insulation is not very good, and the doorbell will be quite noisy when someone comes in or out, so think about it carefully.

The hotel is very close to Dongmen MRT Station (about 1-3 minutes walk from Exit 1), but the entrance is a little unclear as it is in an alley (next to 7-11). In terms of cleanliness, it was generally clean, but there were still some small stains on the sheets and bed sheets that could not be washed out (although it was not washed, it just looked unsightly). There was also a very long hair (I guess the female cleaning staff dropped it and didn't notice). There is no elevator, so passengers with large luggage will have to pump the gas themselves.
