Ulasan Art'otel Taipei Ximending

The hotel is a bit far from the metro - it takes me 8 minutes of walk at my fastest speed but more realistically it takes about 12-15 minutes. But! It makes up with its amenities. I really like the Smart TV which has youtube and even free netflix! The toilet also has a bidet :) And the electrical plugs are universal. They also provide complimentary access to a well-equiped gym nearby! tip: there's a restroom you can access when you collect your luggage and you can use it to freshen up!

I really enjoyed my stay at Art’otel! The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. Helped me with all my questions. Room was clean and they provide you with options for cleaning. Would stay here again.

Room space is quite limited, located more towards the back of ximending night market, 10 minutes walk from mrt station to hotel. Quiet environment

This hotel was a pleasant surprise for me 👏 I only wish I had found it sooner so I could stay for more than one night. The staff are very welcoming, kind and helpful. Special shoutout to Eric who’s so kind and polite ☺️ After a weary day in a foreign city, there’s nothing better than being welcomed by warm and friendly smiles🥹 The rooms were simply designed, yet stylish. I liked the multi functioning toilet, the pillows, snacks and inclusive Netflix on the tv. I’d recommend this hotel for solo travelers, because the room space is enough for one person. The only downside is that sound can be heard from other rooms and the hallway, and the bed is a little soft. But for me, the staff is number one☝️

If you happen to travel in Taiwan and stay in Ximending I can recommend this 3stars hotel. This is for those who like "A bit on a pricy side meets artsy "kind of space vibe. Just learned that Taiwan has this culture of making their relationship to customers feel like really at home and not too luxurious. Imagine that even their staffs are just wearing everyday clothes on shorts and shirts with no branding at all. You would just be surprised that they are part of the hotel team when you ask for help. The style of the hotel is on the "Industrial meets Pop culture ". Details l've noticed are as follows 1. Exterior Signage: • The hotel's exterior features a modest, multi-story building with a weathered appearance. The illuminated hotel sign, "ARTOTEL," is prominently displayed above the entrance, surrounded by lights to draw attention. 2. Lobby Area: • The lobby has an industrial-chic design, with exposed pipes on the ceiling and large, retro-style hanging lights. There is a wooden counter with multiple desktop computers, likely serving as a check-in area or a business center for guests. • The signage directs guests to amenities such as laundry and restrooms, indicating a basic yet functional setup. 3. Reception Desk: • The reception area features a vintage-inspired counter with ornate detailing, adding a touch of character to the space. • Behind the counter, shelves are lined with various items, possibly for guest use or sale, contributing to a somewhat cluttered but cozy atmosphere. Overall, the hotel combines functional amenities with a unique, industrial aesthetic, characteristic of a two-star establishment aimed at ambience conscious travelers seeking a bit of style.

Great Stay in the Heart of Ximending I really enjoyed my stay at Art’otel Ximending! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and made for an easy, hassle-free experience. The location was the highlight—within Ximending, with endless shops, restaurants, and entertainment just steps away. It was so convenient to walk everywhere, making it a perfect base for exploring Taipei. Overall, a great choice for anyone wanting a fun and vibrant stay in the city!

The hotel is located near Ximending. Taking the MTR and Taxi is convenient. The services offered is good. The room is simple and clean. The hotel is located on level 4 of a building which seems to be undergoing renovation or maintenance. So the other floor and the entrance seems to be in an under construction look. The room size is small compared against the other hotels. There are also no cabinet or other furnitures. Only 2 beds and 1 chair. The tv is mounted on the wall but it do comes with Netflix which keeps the kids occupied.

Was really surprised with what the hotel offers even though it’s a 3 star hotel. They have free access to Netflix which most hotels don’t (or can’t even sync) and a coffee machine. The room itself feels cozy and a double bed is quite wide. Although I book one with no window, it doesn’t feels you are locked up. Shower gel and shampoo both smells great. Location is okay - around ximen ding but have to walk a bit to the inside.

the hotel is so neat very clean interior have shower have laundry nice smart tv have a gym (?) also but didnt get to see it because i thought taipei was gonna rain all day no sport shoes pleasant

I stayed here for the first half of my Taipei trip, the hotel is perfect for solo travellers. The room is a great size with fantastic amenities (Nespresso machine and Dyson hairdryer! Tv with Netflix included). The room may be a little cosy for a couple but I think it would be fine! Hotel lobby had a lot of cute things you could buy like souvenirs; patches and pins. They also offered maps etc. and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, could speak mandarin and English. I arrived before check in, and leaving my luggage was not a problem, they also let me freshen up after my flight and change my clothes in the bathroom (which also had a shower!) Communal kitchen area with a fridge, washing machine and water tap (which could make soda water!). I loved staying here and would definitely stay again!

The boss is very friendly and very cozy

The entrance and location spots is kinda dark and confusing because the front desk in on the 4th floors. But overall the cleanliness and the room was good.
