The hotel has an unbeatable sea view. Enoshima and Mount Fuji are in full view when the weather is clear. Although the language communication at the front desk was a bit difficult, they tried their best to introduce the hotel's services and facilities. The breakfast was great, with a view of the sea and good service. It was semi-self-service. The main course was a choice between Benedict and Omelette, and the rest was self-service. The waiter who served us was an old man. He specially prepared a translator and gave a very detailed introduction. The hotel has a shuttle bus, which is very convenient. If you miss the shuttle bus time, it is not too far to walk from Shichirigahama Station to the hotel, because the hotel is halfway up the mountain. You can take the elevator from the banquet hall of the hotel at the foot of the mountain to the lobby. In short, this stay at Kamakura Prince exceeded expectations.

This was a great choice for our family in Kamakura. The bunk beds were great, with lights and outlets by each bunk. The onsen is wonderful. All guests received a little basket with bath towel and pajamas to use in the onsen and the room. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. At night, we could even get rice and miso soup in case we were hungry. The hotel is tasteful and well-located. It was an easy walk from the station and we also walked to the ocean every morning.

The location of the hotel is good. It's not far from Eno Tram Station in one block, but it's a little bit away from JR Kamakura Station. I live in a Japanese-style Kiri room on the second floor. It is very nice and very clean. Even if there is a bed for three people, there is still a lot of space, and the bathroom is well designed, separated from dry and wet, complete disinfection tools, and bathroom The equipment is excellent, and it will not bring the water droplets on the body into the room after the shower! Playing on the floor may be harder than normal Simmons, but because of the relatively quiet location, I still sleep well. At night, Kamakura is relatively quiet and does not have the rich nightlife of Tokyo. In addition to drinking in an izakaya, you can also watch the stars and enjoy the sea breeze on the hotel terrace.
The breakfast is delicious and there are many choices. All the soups and salads are homemade. They are fresh and delicious. The amount is not large but it fills the stomach.

AAnonymous Userhotel was on the main street and it has everything there too the bed was comfy however parking has to be paid but it wasn’t too bad after all, there was a slight hiccup at check in as we wanted 2 double bed for 3 pax however they were rigid saying we need another bed for the 3rd pax
room was really nice and comfy and had bath salts to soak after a super long day thank you overall

RRickyIpThe hotel is at the city. There are 2 nearby shopping malls and many restaurants. You can walk and take you leisure time there a few days. I had an island tour which is very good! However, the hotel car park is small. You have to park outside to public car park at 1100 max per day.

GGuest UserAn old Japanese hotel with almost no foreign guests. The service staff are very friendly and polite. When we checked out, the hotel manager helped us carry our luggage👍. The breakfast is a set meal. Although there are not many types, they are all freshly made, especially the bread baked in the morning, which is irresistible to me. I will stay here again next time😊

HHui Wun ChewJust walking distance to all restaurants and Ofuna train station. The hotel itself looked very new especially on the lobby but the room is super small. The bedsheet was shedding and it seem like it has been over-washed or used for many many times. There is no view inside the room and you’re basically surrounded by all the buildings.
The breakfast is quite good with what they offered - western and Japanese cuisines.

Hotel is just 280 meter from train station with small road. The road from the station to hotel is very beautiful with Japanese house. No nearby convenient stores but have one restaurant next to hotel.

EErshuajiangI stayed at Kaihinso for the first time in 2019, but unfortunately the comments at that time are gone. I have experienced a lot in the past 5 years, but my impression of Kaihinso has never changed. This is the most important part of the Kamakura trip.
The Kaihinso building itself is a national protected building in Japan, and most of the staff are old ladies with a friendly attitude. Five years ago, most of the guests staying were Japanese, but this time most of them are Chinese tourists.
Do you want to experience the most traditional Japanese inn? Just stay at Kaihinso. Sleep on tatami, take a hot spring, and eat Japanese breakfast.
Kaihinso is only more than 100 meters away from Yuigahama Station on the Enoden. You can walk along the path to the beach, or take the tram for 4 stops to Shichirigahama, 5 stops to Kamakura High School, or 7 stops to Enoshima.
Even if you don’t go to the attractions, just walking in the nearby alleys and feeling the tranquility of the Japanese countryside is also an excellent experience.

They didn't use cheap shampoos or anything, so my hair didn't get all stiff!
The desk felt high compared to the height of the sofa, so it would have been better if it was lower.
Also, check-out was at 10am, and the intercom rang 5 or 10 minutes before. When I opened the door, a cleaning man was standing there, and he told me how many minutes left until check-out. I felt a bit pressured at that time, but other than that I thought it was a great place! I'd like to use it again!
