It was my first time to experience a hot spring hotel. Overall it was very comfortable. Although it is not a new modern hotel, it was a good feeling to experience Japanese culture. There were more Japanese people staying this time. Although we were tourists, the staff entertained us very warmly. Dinner and breakfast were very rich. Although the road is a bit far from the city center, it is still worthwhile to experience this hotel. The room is very large and the scenery is great. It's so spectacular. There are small bugs in the natural environment. It is recommended not to open the windows. Everything else is impeccable. The hotel's care products are also very complete and facial masks are provided. Overall, it is highly recommended.

One of the receptionists speaks French well and we could exchange with him without problems. The spa/ sauna space is identical for men and women but is differentiated according to the time: 1 man and 1 woman in the morning and evening.

GGuest UserWow, this was our first time staying at a Dormy and we loved it. We've stayed at other business hotels, and Dormy has been the best this far. The roof top onsen was great, very clean with lots of personal care products to use. They offer free ice cream (popsicles after onsen 🤤) and ramen in the evening, and free yakult in the morning. The room size is economical, bit larger than other business hotels we stayed in.
Parking is not free, it's 1300 a night (if there's space). If it matters, the pajamas they provide are not visually appealing, though they are comfortable (a shirt and pants, both using synthetic sweat wicking (think athletic wear) fabrics).

JJose LoAside from that area is a bit noisy at night (midnight trains/JR) running. Other than that it’s a very convenient area with all the shopping malls and food are around. Will choose this hotel again.

BBokkie TruongAn elegant, smart hotel in a quieter location but an easy walk from the railway station. Rooms feel spacious with the large windows. A negative was they only had smoking rooms. Although there was a smoke smell in the room it was no a big problem

EErlingsanDecent hotel walking distance from Himeji train station and Himeji castle.
Check in was smooth, they offered the usual free coffee/tea/lemon water. We asked for a second blanket, which was no problem for the staff.
The rooms are the usual Japanese business hotel style. The “normal” room, has semi double bed, which would seem a bit small for Western travellers, especially if you are big. But this you should know already, if you ever travelled to Japan.
The breakfast was decent [see picture], and the heating was working well.

GGuest UserIt's close to the station and has a hot spring and sauna on the top floor.
It's a low-temperature sauna that even sauna beginners can use, so it was easy to get in.
I stayed on the 7th floor and the view was great.
You can even see the Shinkansen from some rooms!
The noise from the next room is a bit annoying, but it's not a problem.
Dinner and breakfast are included for free.
Even if you don't have dinner, there are plenty of places to eat nearby, so it's not a problem.
Breakfast is a buffet, so you can have as much as you like of whatever you like, which is great.
I'd like to stay here again.

GGuest UserNice hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff. They went out their way to make my stay enjoyable. A couple of guys at reception spoke great English. Great roof terrace with view of castle. 500 yen to use a well equipped gymn about 60m from the hotel. Slept well here.

IIrene SheApart from the water supply issue in the room, the rest are perfect. The breakfast was good, and the night views from the hotel was spectacular. The water supply in the room was too slow, and I had to go to the public bathroom for brushing teeth. The staff offered to upgrade us to another room, but we don't like the 2 single beds room so we decided to stay in the one King bedroom that we reserved.

GGuest UserThe room type is old, the TV is still old-fashioned, the heater is very noisy, I was woken up in the middle of the night, the bed also felt vibrating every time the heater made noise, there were many people, the bathhouse was very good but there were many people, the breakfast was rich, many people had to wait It only takes 10 minutes to get a seat, and there is a shuttle bus to the JR station entrance. In a family-friendly hotel, children do not need to pay extra, and children's slippers and toothbrushes are also provided.
