I stayed in November 2024.
The room type is a standard twin room.
The room was clean and had a one-seater sofa, desk, refrigerator, hanger rack, etc.
The toilet and shower room had a partition in the shower room so that water did not leak out, which was good.
There were towels of various sizes.
The breakfast was also delicious and had a wide variety of options.
There was also a sauna and pool in the basement, and the pool was quite wide and the water was about 2m deep in the deepest part!
In terms of location, it is about a 30-minute walk from Rovaniemi Station, but there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so you can get to the hotel by bus.
You can also take this bus to Santa Claus Village.
You can see the Lumberjack's Candle Bridge when you leave the hotel, and access to Rovaniemi city is good, so the location was great.

Santasport Hotel is an integrated resort with accommodation, trekking, skiing, bike riding, snowboarding and many other winter activities. They have track for all the activities and it was an enjoyable trip to explore the woods during winter.
The hotel has a bowling alley, swimming pool and sauna. It also has a cafe
Checking in and out was a breeze and the staff are friendly and helpful. They attend to all guests need and never fail to impress.
Room size was reasonable and they also have a clothes drying cabinet. Bed is comfy and I had good sleeps. Breakfast was good with quality soread.
Will return to Santasport Hotel if I come for my winter holiday in Rovaniemi.

TTERRYVery nice cottage, and big. Even though I travelled solo, I could see the space is comfortable for 2.4 persons. Service of staff is good, they don't volunteer information but if you asked they respond in very friendly way. Breakfast was average, both in terms of spread and quality. As the village was so quiet during the time I stayed (beginning of Autumn), I didn't try their restaurants for other meals, choosing instead to go to city center. Facilities-wise this is a resort, and there was no help to get your luggage to your room which is a few minutes walk. you can pay for it. Also, no transport to city provided by hotel. You need to take public transport.

Yyzx1236The location of the hotel is relatively remote, and taxis are required for travel. There are no other restaurants in the eight-kilometre radius, and they can only be settled in the hotel. The hotel room is quite large, but slippers and body lotion are not provided, which is very inconvenient. The toilet paper provided by the hotel is also the worst I have ever seen in a Finnish hotel. No paper towels are provided. The hygiene of the room is not very good, and can only reach the standard of the inn. The buffet breakfast provided is very simple and the quality is average. The only advantage is that the restaurant is a good place to watch the sunrise.

AAnonymous UserThe first row of igloos by the lake, the sky is full of stars at night, it is very beautiful, the Big Dipper and the Ursa Major constellation are very clear, but unfortunately the clouds are a bit thick and we cannot see the aurora. The white patches of snow on the lake are great during the day. The sunrise in the Arctic Circle in winter is slanting up and setting, which is very interesting. The sauna in the room is small but effective, and the breakfast is also very good. It was very convenient for us to drive here. We also went to a nearby supermarket to buy late-night snacks and cook them ourselves. The kitchen supplies in the room were full.

RRayIts located within the santa claus village area, require about 400m of walk, passing by husky ride, roasted salmon, restaurants before you reach to santa claus's office.
We spent a night in the igloo, with standard western breakfast provided.
The only thing i felt dissapointed was that, they provide complimentary dinner(main course) for all guest, but we are not being informed from check in time, end up, we bought our dinner as take away from near by restaurant, and was told to order the main course when we collect room key at the reception.
Worst was, they dont provide room service, we have no choice to carry 2 plates of main course back to our igloo.
rest is good beside this.

兔兔兔愛睡覺The environment is very good, but it is a bit far from the city center and you have to take a taxi to get there. There is a supermarket for supplies in about 20 minutes' walk. The chalet is close to the ski slopes, perfect for those who want to ski for hours with ease. The restaurant provides a simple breakfast, which is the same every day, so the small kitchen in the wooden house is very important. You can cook some simple meals by yourself with basic utensils😙 Finally, we also successfully chased the Northern Lights by the lake

Kkk85This hotel was in a great location, very convenient to get to the local tourist companies for excursions. Breakfast was typical buffet but plenty of choice. The room was a little small but had everything we needed. Staff very helpful. I'd stay here again. Photo is the view from our room window.

GGuest UserIt was helpful that they kept our luggage even before check-in. There were a few clumps of dust in the bathroom, but the room was generally clean and nice! There was a wide variety of breakfast options, and we enjoyed it. Santa Claus Village is easily accessible from the bus stop about a 10-minute walk away. There was also a supermarket about 10 minutes away from the hotel, which was convenient.
