A little off to the side of the city center, but a mere 10-minute-ish walk from JR station and had no problem getting around. Intentionality chose a room at the newer building, a building repurposed from apartment villa, that faced the shoreline and the view was spectacular. The rooms at the newer building also comes with a washing machine, and you can easily get detergent, etc. from the coin laundry on the ground floor. Service was great and staff members always gave us excellent recommendations. It was extra convenient for us that one of the front personnel was a Korean. Onsen was included in the stay and we were more than happy to make daily trips to it. We were coming directly from Noboribetsu, and the onsen was still pretty decent (for the reference, we stayed at Yumoto Hotel). Breakfast buffet packs a pretty impressive diversity of food and had a limited yet still decent option of creating you own kaisendon. This was not included in our stay, but I’d say it is more than fairly priced for its quality and convenience. Overall, I would definitely come back to this hotel next time I’m in the area, or at least come back for the onsen. The price is unbeatable for the quality/ease of stay/amenities.

The hotel is located just opposite the Hakodate JR station and bus station, very convenient to travel around at Hakodate. Necessary razors, comb, tea and ear buds can be collected from the lobby. The staff here are very polite and helpful. Special thanks to 大和and 藤田. They helped us to fill up the form to send our luggage to Sapporo and contact Sapporo hotel. (Additional price needed for the 宅急便). This makes our journey easier to go around without carrying heavy luggage up and down the JR. The hotel breakfast is just additional 1200 Yen per person. It is very worth it to have our breakfast here.

Loved everything about our stay here! The location is convenient, can be accessed directly from the JR station without having to go into the cold/snow. Room is clean & spacious (for Japanese standards) and has all necessary amenities. Rooftop lounge has amazing view as well as freeflow coffee. Would definitely stay here again for our next trip to Hakodate!

The hotel is very close to Goryokaku. You can see the tower from the room. Across the road is the Daikokuya, which is very convenient for late night snacks. However, it seems that you need to swipe your card to enter the hotel gate after 11 o'clock. The hotel is small in size, the rooms are compact, and there is no underground parking lot. You need to park in the surrounding public parking lots. The front desk provides a schematic diagram and enthusiastic guidance.

The breakfast has little choices. We did not book the buffet dinner as we would like to try other local authentic food. Room a bit rundown. The hot bath pool need renovation as we can see the pool flooring is coated with stains. Need to pay for hot spring tax which this was not made known during booking.

amazing hostel! very comfy room, free cozy clothes amd towles, friendly staff and perfect location! my personal highlight were the kitchen amd the rooftop, absolutely loved cooking and eating there!!

The location of the hotel is right outside the transportation station! ! (Goryokaku Station!) Very convenient to the location, there are department stores, Starbucks and donut shops next to it! There is also a convenience store! It's really convenient! We stayed on the 10th floor and the weather was great! So the night view from the room is super beautiful! Great hotel location! ! The counter is also very friendly! There is also a large bath! It’s also quick and convenient to take public transportation! !

The room is indeed small compared to those in China. There are three of us, two adults and one child. It's barely enough for a six-year-old kid to live in it. We just sleep there anyway. The bed is very soft, super soft. The bed is a good size for three people. It should be very friendly for office use. There are separate work chairs and work tables. In addition, there are two small chairs and a small table near the window, which can be used for a meal. It is indeed very convenient for two people to go out for fun or business. There are also self-service washing machines in the hotel, but it's a bit troublesome to queue up. Overall, it's not bad. The price is cheap now compared to other hotels of the same period, 1,000 RMB for two nights. Other hotels are 800 per night.

I booked a single room in the annex. Check-in and breakfast are in the main building. You need to swipe your room card to enter the hotel and the elevator. The security is good. The breakfast is average, but it is free. The location is very good, it is very convenient to go everywhere, and there are many places to eat nearby
