Hotel Corner

The room was nice tho’ no shower mat. Fancy shower but, you might slip and fall as there is no grip. Tho’ they advertise a restaurant - they are understaffed. I went for dinner and was told they are not serving dinner due to a group of 30. Apparently, only 1 person in the kitchen. No room service available- no food in the bar. No notice to the guests that the restaurant would be closed. The next day, their in room hospitality guide said they are open for lunch till 4pm. I called down at 3pm and was told their restaurant doesn’t open till 6PM and only serving (again) the group of 30. Clearly their in room hotel guide is not accurate. I asked twice for the mini bar price list and did not receive anything. Yet again, it was not in “the book”. When asked to refill certain items. They were out of stock. Satellite TV does not work.

Lovely boutique hotel. Looking from the outside you think oh my god what sort of hotel is this! Once inside it is completely different from the outside. The rooms are quite big and cosy with plenty of space which was a bonus. The hotel was not far from the water to look around.

I decided to stay in a modern hotel located 10' on foot from the old town, because the prices inside the walls were from another planet (this hotel was not cheap though). We were not disappointed at all. The room was very big and comfortable. The bathroom luminous with good cosmetics. The staff was helpful and kind. The breakfast just average. The old town is 10' on foot but to reach the bus station you will need transport if you have luggage. It is a great solution for a comfortable stay.

not much from the outside but welcoming reception area etc. The young guy on the front counter however could use some lessons on hospitality, smiling and generally giving a giving impression. He was a deadpan shocker. small lift to the two upper floors. The room was very spacious, clean and tidy. There is a fridge and minibar, adequate plugs but lacking in things like a coffee/tea maker, make up mirror and even a tissue box which would have been welcomed. there was however a heated towel rack. The bathroom was modern however the shower was terrible. I'm not tall, and wanted to adjust the shower head down but couldn't budge it, it would even hold in position so no choice but to hold the darn thing. I wonder how often maintenance actually do random checks on things like this. Split aircon in the room. We had a light snack in the restaurant early which was just a simple brushetta but my goodness it was delicious and very reasonably priced. The guy serving us was very friendly and helpful. Maybe he could give some lessons to the young guy on the front desk. yes it was about a 10 min walk to the old town and while there were some bakery places around, it felt a bit removed and the area didn't feel that great.

clean is their selling part, but that's about it. NOTHING works in the room. TV: not working. Safe: not working, no battery, battery cover was tossed on the floor. Hair Dryer: not working. and let me tell you the most ridiculous part, the hotel staff told me: in order to get hot water to take a shower, you had to turn on both sink and shower hot water tabs simultaneously to maximum, wait for a good few minutes for hot water to flow. REMEMBER, you had to jump between the shower and face basin a few times to achieve that!! during such time, if one side hot water turned off, you would get ice cold water in the other side. I am an avid traveller and have stayed thousands of hotels, NEVER have experienced such a thing. 4 stars? I would give them 1 star

This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the city centre. The rooms are large, facilities are very good, comfy bed, kettle but you need to buy milk and take teabags if necessary. Breakfast is very good, lots of choice and freshly made omelette. The bus station is opposite if you want to travel to Trogir or any nearby towns i.e. Klis Fort 2euros flat rate for any distance.
