The hotel is not as good as expected. There’s no Nile view from our room, located at 2nd floor nor from the restaurant, so we didn’t see Nile from the hotel at all.
The service didn’t make us feel welcomed. The receptionist didn’t say hello or welcome, and looked impatient. When we asked if the hotel has first aid kit, as my husband was scratched by a cat and needed sanitary treatment, the receptionist just directly said “No”, although he promised to check and came back to us, he didn’t…
The room is good but the bathroom is quite old and the AC heat function didn’t work - it’s just around 8 degree during night in Aswan.

We chose a double leisure room, located on the second floor, No. 3. When you open the door, you will see a small space of 1.5-2 square meters, with three small doors, a bathroom, and two independent small rooms. In the small room is a bed of about 1.5 meters, a desk, an open clothes hanger and a refrigerator cabinet. There is a balcony connecting the rooms. The first floor is the public living room of this house. The bathroom basin is higher than the average. There is no bathtub. It is a sliding door for rain shower. The living room is very beautiful, but on the first floor, it is a public space and is not used very often. The two corners at the end of the bed protrude, and one corner of the desk also protrudes, which is strange and impractical. There are not enough sockets in the room, and there is no place to plug in the lights originally equipped in the room. If you come to stay, remember to bring adapters and extension boards. The hotel is composed of many small villas. You have to take a shuttle bus 1 km away for breakfast. The hotel can contact the airport to pick you up in advance, free of charge. The hotel is very nice, it feels like a vacation, the bed is very comfortable, the location is quite remote, it is a long way from various attractions, a taxi is about 80 Egyptian pounds, in addition, there are quite a lot of Chinese people. The food in the hotel is quite expensive.

It’s one of if not the best hotel in Aswan, situated in an exclusive island with an amazing view of the Nile and Nubian village. The staff was super comforting and lovely. There’s a shuttle boat that runs 24 hours to the main center of Aswan. I had an incredible time here. <3

I booked a river view deluxe room, but was given a standard king-size bed room. I asked for a king-size bed, but they put twin beds together to make a king-size bed. They didn't even make the beds. Do you think I'm a **? Apart from the superior room or the deluxe room, you really can't stay in the rooms below. The deluxe room is just a fast hotel, at least there is no odor. The rooms below are just guest houses, full of mold and old stinky smells. If you book a superior room and get a standard room, you must go to the front desk to complain and ask to stay in the room you booked.

In the Nubian Desert on the banks of the Nile, opposite Elephantine Island, the majestic hotel sits on a pink granite cliff overlooking the world's longest river. This ravishing hotel with its legendary guest list of royals and dignitaries is both ideal for romantic getaways, and a perfect venue for small summits and corporate meetings.

After checking in and entering the room on the 8th floor of the hotel on February 6, a drone flew to the glass lamp on the balcony, and the glass exploded all over the floor. After the incident, the hotel manager explained that it had nothing to do with them and did not want to be responsible. He asked us to communicate and solve the problem with the drone flyer by ourselves, and did not mention their security negligence. After communicating with Ctrip customer service, they kept dragging their feet and not solving the problem. Every time when the time node agreed to give the result was reached, the reply they got was always that there was no result yet and more time was needed. No matter how good the hardware facilities are, I will never come to such a hotel again! In addition, I have already written an email to the Chinese Embassy in Egypt to complain and am waiting for the result.

The scenery of the hotel is very good, the Nile River can be seen from the restaurant, and the breakfast is not bad. The room facilities are relatively simple, similar to those of old domestic 3-star hotels. The bedsheets are a bit lacking in hygiene. Bring your own bedsheets. There are no USB charging ports, slippers, etc. The hotel is in an upper location, 20 minutes away from KFC, and there are few restaurants nearby. My friend who was traveling with me booked a room at Qunar. When I checked in, I was told that there was no reservation, so I almost didn't get it. Ctrip is relatively reliable.

This is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for Internet celebrities to make photos (the following photos are all original photos without retouching), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for ”accommodation” itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + similar scenery alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if it is just for taking pictures and scenery, it may be ranked at the top in Nubian Village.
First of all, you have to be able to tolerate:
1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel.
2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide).
3. The breakfast is self-service and extremely simple and unpalatable, unlike some people who commented on the set and inexplicably praised it.
4. Tolerate or pay more to continue to tolerate the complaints of the chartered driver to drive into Nubian Village, and then contact the hotel by yourself in the middle of the night to change to a three-wheeled motorcycle in the deserted and dark mountains for 15 minutes to doubt life and reach the mountaintop hotel.
5. Other prices are very unreasonable. We originally wanted to book dinner for the New Year's Eve party, but it cost 100 US dollars per person...
What did we get here?
1. The balcony of the room can see the unbeatable sunrise on the west bank of the Nile. We witnessed the first light of 2025 here at 6 am.
2. The various poses in the cultural buildings of the Nubian Village are very photogenic.
3. The desert next to the hotel is very photogenic.
4. A very special cultural experience of a group of tourists jumping up and down the mountain in a row of three-wheeled vehicles.
5. The hotel service staff is relatively friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay.

The Hotel was really beautiful, excellent facilities with nice architecture and decoration, impressive view to the Nile from the rooms, very clean and comfortable common areas and room. Relaxing and private setting. Unique experience. The service was good but we have some miscommunication problems with the staff serving at the restaurant. For us communicating in English with them was difficult, and it cost us some problems with our consumption and food bill. There is some room for improvement for the Hotel in that regards. Although the location for us was really nice for other guest or tourist may prove a problem, as it is not of easy access. Although the hotel offers a shuttle boat to mainland, we had to go through some long waits at mainland to get the ride. Without having a phone to call well in advance for transportation it becomes really different to access the hotel. We were lucky that our tour guide in Aswan, had his local phone and could always help us contacting the hotel and getting the boat for us.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location has to be accessed by a short boat ride, which can be a slight drawback. However, the property itself is clean, modern, and well-kept. While the second-floor Wi-Fi could use some improvement, it didn't significantly affect our stay. The friendly and accommodating staff & owner made our stay enjoyable. They were always willing to assist and ensure our comfort.
YYilmaz KalafatogluHIGHLY RECOMMENDED! First of all it is like a staying with your family far from home, in a very tourist welcoming area in general but also the hotel. All Nubian people are welcoming and honest; especially if you are coming from somewhere other than Egypt you will feel refreshed getting rid of bargaining. Hotel arranged an Abu Simbel transportation (which was 3 hours away)with lunch box for us early in the morning at 04:00 am we came back around 1 pm and take a tour to Philae Temple then came back to hotel (which was our cozy home) and Ahmed took us to village as a local, guided as and provided fair prices, we experienced their culture seeing the magnificently painted surroundings also jumping in local houses with tortoise and crocodiles, and they have provided us transportation to Aswan Train Station. I even felt sad because of leaving a place with full of brothers. Thanks to Ahmed (both), Ms Mai, Mohammed and Islam. It was an amazing experience, you shall not say i’ve visited Egypt before seeing Nubian Village.
GGuest UserIt is difficult to book a hotel in Aswan. After reading for a long time, I found that there are many bad things in the reviews. Finally, I chose this newly opened B&B. To sum up:
Advantages: 1. The view of the Nile River is unbeatable; 2. The staff are friendly and responsible; 3. The room is fully equipped and clean.
Disadvantages: 1. The tap water has a peculiar smell, which is the most difficult to accept. Bathing and washing are uncomfortable. I hope it can be improved; 2. Currently, you have to walk a dirt road (the road may be repaired in the future), and it can be reached by car; 3. Wireless The network signal is poor and it is basically unusable to connect.
GGuest UserThe breakfast was too perfunctory. Although it is a new hotel in Aswan, don't have too high expectations. There is no parking lot in the hotel, and it was scratched when I parked on the roadside.
GGuest UserThe facilities are old, and the hardware conditions are not as good as those of domestic express hotels such as Home Inn and Hanting, but there is nothing we can do about it in Aswan. Hotels under RMB 1,000 basically have such poor conditions. If you want a better one, you have to spend RMB 2,000+. The service is still warm. My teammate had gastroenteritis and took a taxi to the hospital. The front desk saw something was wrong and came up to ask about it, offering to call a doctor for us and even running errands to buy medicine for us.
PPANIt is said that hotels in Aswan are expensive but not good. Maybe it was because my expectations were lowered. Instead, I think this hotel is very cost-effective. The first is the location, on the side of the Nile, on the top you can overlook the Nile. It is very pleasant to watch the sunset. The second is the facilities. Although they are older (if you travel frequently, you should know that the world is unable to compete with the fast-developing China than the new ones), but the level of construction is definitely at least three stars. Much better than the same price in Cairo. Look at the service again. I arrived in the middle of the night and my brother was very warm. When I heard that I was going to join the group at four in the morning, Ma Shan helped me arrange a wake-up service. Early the next morning, a large pack of breakfast was prepared, enough for two or three people. When I left, because the train was at three in the afternoon, I hope to leave the store two hours late. They agreed without saying anything. The Egyptian tradition is to do things to give tips. This is not for foreigners. During the stay, whenever I had a problem, they patiently helped and did not ask for tips. Instead, I am embarrassed. Looking at breakfast again, it may not suit the taste, but the richness is enough. There are nearly ten kinds of bread, as well as freshly baked food. Coffee is instant, which is unacceptable to me. But it cannot be said that they are bad. Compared to my other hotels in Egypt, I definitely like this one better.
