Everything is awesome, big rooms, friendly staff and convenient location!! Just that if you are travelling by car / uber / private hire, then not so, as the jams during peak hour are really bad, a 5mins distance might take up to 30 minutes.. but if by public transport, diagonally there is a bus terminal + metro station + train & high speed rail station!! There is also a microwave but is only for use during the restaurant opening hours, about 6am? To about 10pm? Or so.. the pool above is also very clean, but there is no direct lift to it.. there is also a welcome drink (soft drinks) on the first check in, everyday there are 2 bottles of free pet bottle water

Overall, was a very relaxing experience, but it was far away from the city. Not much food choices around the hotel. But this place was definitely good for short vacation. Staffs were good, private spa bath tub in bedroom was definitely a plus 🤩🤩🤩 ！

The location was very convenient for my business meetings. The big mall closeby had many good restaurants. However, there was some insect in my room, and the A/C in the bar and in the breakfast area was extremely cold, so I was afraid I would get a cold. Service was very good however, we got help in arranging a car and the information about the insect issue was followed up on.

Outstanding! Seemed to be heavily discounted when I booked, as it was the 2nd cheapest hotel in the area, but it was fantastic. Practicality first - only a few minutes from an MRT station. The facilities are amazing. I didn't try the actual spa area, but discovered the room had a bath as well as a shower, the shower had multiple shower head options and also doubled as a steam room. Perfect after a long run to have a private steam room, then a hot bath and finally a cool shower. Love it. The bed was massive, there was also a couch and a writing desk. Definitely the best hotel I've found in Taipei, especially at this price! Room was pretty quiet too, although as with many places the fridge was a bit noisy so I unplugged it. Also, there was a 24 hour self-service restaurant area, with cereals, breads and croissants. During the day, the cereals were replaced with crisps and at night (maybe after 10pm) there was a choice of instant noodles and a fancy cooker. Also all day there was free tea/fresh ground coffee/water/hot chocolate and also sodas on tap, along with packaged sweets and nibbles. The area was very nice and I spent a while relaxing here with a hot chocolate on the way back every day. Definitely would stay here again.

Room is spacious and clean. Shower room and toilet are separate. Staff are polite and helpful. We arrived late in the afternoon at 5pm and were recommended to have food at the next building's restaurant, which were special and delicious. Walking distance to train station is about 10 to 13 minutes, which is reasonable. We also tried the sandwiches and coffee breakfast downstairs before departure. We really enjoyed our stay 4 nights there!

I specially brought my children to play, but the game room is very simple and requires a fee. The opening hours of the parent-child fitness center are very short and the space is not big. The hotel hardware is good although it is older, but it is still clean. There are really few service staff. All services are required. It’s really hard to wait and wait for breakfast. Many things are not replenished. The cafe on the first floor is also very hard to eat. It’s hard to believe that the food in this hotel is of this level. I was full of expectations for this hotel. Now I can only say that I probably won’t visit again.

I was there for my business trip. I like hotel staff, everyone is so nice to me. Never better. Close by Mitsui Outlet Park Linkou & A9 MRT, easy to shopping and walk around. There're many restaurants around the hotel, and really good taste. I'll come back visit again. Room is clean and comfort. Breakfast is ok. Had a very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Location is not far from Metro and Taipei... Must take taxi to get Metro and then ~25 mins to get downtown 101 area. Hotel WiFi works well at ~ 27-28 Mbps steady and Ethernet port works. Building seems to have a lot of concrete and was hard to find room and areas in room, bwhere I could also use a SIM card hotspot signal that was fast enough (as a back up in event hotel WiFi failed).
Surrounding areas, not too much. But business park and Starbucks and Family Mart in North East 5-12 mins walk from hotel.
Staff very courteous and helpful. Room very nice. Heaters in each room. Quiet. Windows are think and don't open.

The room was really nice! big! It feels like I stayed in a room on Paradise Island at a low price. XD
The hot spring bathtub in the room is also very good, which is enough for two people to soak at the same time.
The mattress is indeed harder than that of an average hotel. It's not the kind that makes you feel soft and sink into the bed, but it's not so hard that you can't sleep on it. The sofa in the living room is really comfortable, and it's quite nice to watch TV in the living room.
It's a pity that the air conditioning in the room cannot be adjusted, it can only be turned on and off. There is an option to select heating and air supply on the smart control panel, but when you press it, it feels like it just turns off the air conditioning. It was winter with the temperature over 10 degrees when we checked in. It was very cold when the air conditioner was on, and very stuffy when it was not on. The large balcony can be used for ventilation in the morning, but the air conditioning is inconvenient when you close the doors and windows at night.
Overall it is very good and highly recommended.

PPBBA cute and nice bed-and-breakfast with multiple locations located in Jiufen. It is HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you CONTACT the HOTEL BEFORE ARRIVAL as the bed-and-breakfast has multiple locations and it’s hard to find them without proper direction. The streets of this town are very windy as it’s on a mountain so it’s even hard for taxi drivers to find hotel locations.
After I contacted the hotel, they were able to pick me up from a random spot that I got lost and direct me to my room. The room was very nice, very big, clean and located very close to the old street about a five minute walk up some stairs and also very close to family mart and 7-Eleven for all your needs.
Only thing is I would like if the hotel could provide more towels, hand towels, face towels would be nice. They only provided two full body towels, but other than that great place highly recommended because of its convenience in the area and the friendliness of their staff who also spoke English. 😊 they also provided a nice breakfast that was delivered to your room whenever you wanted in the morning.
They are also super great at providing a map of the town and giving you all the tips for your stay and telling you where to eat and the hours of these places.

We hailed a cab to get there from the airport,but the driver got lost even with GPS. Since Jiufen is located on
high mountains with very narrow roads, we felt a bit car sick from 1 hour and 30 minutes of the ride at the end.
We, however found out the hotel was actually located on very convenient and easy to get by next day!
The outside spa was not that clean, neither even was not warm enough to get in, the weather there was very cold!
The breakfast was worthy to have, because around there no place to eat unless you take a ride to get down to Old
Street place. We felt a bit chilly inside of the room, it could be the cold weather at this time ( in March?) One thing very odd was the length of the bed in the master room, even for me my feet could touched the end of the bed!( i am 5’2”.) Overall not bad, liked their clean and staff were very friendly. If you got bed knees, watch out those enormous steps every other corners!

GGuest UserNot the easiest to locate. Check in is done such that you have to WhatsApp the owners/staff before they come by to meet you. There is no counter. However they respond promptly and quickly come to pick up your luggages and bring you to the room. They are very friendly too. Unit is two stories, beautiful view from the upstairs room. Can use downstairs area to store luggages and upstairs has limited space.

AAnonymous UserA supposedly 4 star hotel that delivers the bare minimum. Nothing to shout about, had an unobjectionable stay here in January this year and was happy with the location and relatively clean room so decided to book again for 5 nights for my recent trip. Regretted my decision as I felt that the service was lackluster. Upon entering the room we saw that the double bed was made up by 2 twin beds unlike our initial experience so we approached the front desk to enquire if a change was possible as we do not like the feel of the gap between the beds and the light switches were behind our pillows making the lights on/off if we were to even lightly lean on the headboard.
The answer we got was that we should have indicated that request upon check in and it is a common process for hotels to join 2 twin beds and sell them as a double room. The front desk manager also said the check in rate was 98% that night. We then asked if we could have a change the next day and the reply was to come down and check again tmr. No effort to assist and instead all we felt was him trying the shift the blame to us when all we requested was a double bed when it is available. That left an extremely sour taste in our mouth.
The next morning, I woke up with red bites on my arms, legs and torso, however my partner didn't had any so I did not relate it to the cleanliness of the room. The next 2 morning remained to be the same and we requested a change of room which we were given. The itchiness subsided after the change. The staff also passed a cream for itchness to me. But she mentioned it may be mosquito bites which I can tell it isn't as they are in clusters.
Location was convenient for us as it is near the banqiao transfer station and there are food choices around the hotel as well as a few family marts.

First, a very big thank you to all the best manners and excellent staff..from day 1 Yvonne, Louise, then Ms Yang, Cindy til Mr Masaki the last day.. they all are very friendly, helpful and very professional in their work. As we have to leave very early to the airport..without further words, Ms Yang was so meticulous enough to suggest Breakfast Bento ( attached is the nutritious 爱心bento ，thank you the kitchen staff for the preparation🙏 😍) and Mr Masaki handles our last minute request promptly in a professional way..The staff of Just Sleep Sanchong seem to know 读心术 & wil fulfill all your needs🥺😍. Second, even though the hotel is few years old but the room and all amenities are still in a very good condition. the comfortable bed, clean floor, good shower 👍 Real appreciate Mr Daniel for making up the rooms everyday and was very impressed by the sparkling clean toilet. Third, distance is not a problem at all as the Mrt station is just a few steps away.. Last but not least, the breakfast environment is good and beautiful plus the efficient breakfast staff,🙏 Looking forward to the delicious breakfast first thing in the morning😋😋For sure, I will Definitely recommend without 2nd thought this beautiful and Marvellous Just Sleep Sanchong to all friends and definitely will stay at this Just Sleep Sanchong again if come back to Taipei🥰😘😍 Thank you very much again to all beautiful people of Just Sleep Sanchong. The layout in the room is simple yet exquisite, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, allowing you to enjoy a good night's sleep. The scenery outside the window is even more beautiful, and the beauty of Tamsui's mountains and seas can be seen at a glance. Whether traveling as a family or traveling with friends, this stay is a satisfying experience.
The parking lot, however, was a little adventure. Although the hotel provides a parking lot, getting in and out requires some skills and courage, especially for travelers who are not familiar with local roads. But this ”thrilling exploration” process turned out to be an interesting part of the journey, making people smile.
When you come to Tamsui, how can you miss the fun of taking a ferry and visiting the old streets? Taking a ferry across the Tamsui River, with the gentle breeze and sparkling water, one feels like traveling through time. There are a dazzling array of snack stalls and handicraft shops on the old streets, showing strong local culture. Whether it’s freshwater aji, fish cakes or sweet taro balls, every bite is unforgettable. Strolling along the old streets, you can not only feel the living atmosphere of the local residents, but also gain an in-depth understanding of the history and culture of Tamsui.
In addition, the visits to Hongmao City and the University of Truth were also very fruitful. As an important relic of Taiwan's history, Hongmao City has witnessed the cultural blending of different periods. Walking there, you feel like you can hear the echoes of history. Truth University attracts people with its beautiful architecture and quiet campus. Every corner of the campus is like a carefully arranged picture frame, suitable for taking photos.
This trip is not limited to Tamsui. The MRT allows us to easily connect to downtown Taipei, extending the scope of our trip. TTobias TYou won’t have a lot of privacy there. Single rooms have practically zero sound insulation. There are only two toilets and two shower cubicles for the whole floor. Even though I am heavy sleeper I got no more than 6 hours of good sleep everyday. It is very loud in there, especially in the mornings. If you are on a budget it is probably pretty good option for a few nights. I stayed there for 4 nights in a row and it was definitely too much for me. To be fair I need to add that the service was extraordinary. People at the front desk were always very helpful, friendly and professional. However, the sleeping area definitely needs some improvement or they should just change their name from hotel to hostel. You can for sure find yourself something more comfortable in Taipei for the same amount of money. I did not enjoy food, I got the same plain toast with a little bit of cheese and ham everyday. On the upside there is a pretty decent restaurant just next to this place.

GGuest UserIf you book multiple rooms, you can inform us that there are 2 buildings. Otherwise, those with family members will be separated into separate rooms, which is very inconvenient. Moreover, it will be a bit troublesome to change rooms if there are multiple rooms. Thank you.
