Everything is awesome, big rooms, friendly staff and convenient location!! Just that if you are travelling by car / uber / private hire, then not so, as the jams during peak hour are really bad, a 5mins distance might take up to 30 minutes.. but if by public transport, diagonally there is a bus terminal + metro station + train & high speed rail station!! There is also a microwave but is only for use during the restaurant opening hours, about 6am? To about 10pm? Or so.. the pool above is also very clean, but there is no direct lift to it.. there is also a welcome drink (soft drinks) on the first check in, everyday there are 2 bottles of free pet bottle water

I think the best way to put it is that it’s not your vocational hotel it’s more for stop point or working through cities hotel where it values practically and budget for suitable for work or students…I choose the smallest room but honestly personally as long as I have a clean bed which provide me a high quality sleeping that’s all a care….
If you own a locomotive or motorcycle…finding a park is living hell…I spend over 30 min trying to find a spot and failed…if you own a car then they can a car parking ground

Disappointed as Saunas and hot baths were closed, I waited for ten min for it to open than went to front desk, a person from front desk went to check why it’s not open and later he came back today we are closed for maintenance. Normally you can ask hotel to get your breakfast packed when asked the answer was we need to tell them in advance but at checking in no one has give any information about it. Hotel Location is great with a sea view room.

Outstanding! Seemed to be heavily discounted when I booked, as it was the 2nd cheapest hotel in the area, but it was fantastic. Practicality first - only a few minutes from an MRT station. The facilities are amazing. I didn't try the actual spa area, but discovered the room had a bath as well as a shower, the shower had multiple shower head options and also doubled as a steam room. Perfect after a long run to have a private steam room, then a hot bath and finally a cool shower. Love it. The bed was massive, there was also a couch and a writing desk. Definitely the best hotel I've found in Taipei, especially at this price! Room was pretty quiet too, although as with many places the fridge was a bit noisy so I unplugged it. Also, there was a 24 hour self-service restaurant area, with cereals, breads and croissants. During the day, the cereals were replaced with crisps and at night (maybe after 10pm) there was a choice of instant noodles and a fancy cooker. Also all day there was free tea/fresh ground coffee/water/hot chocolate and also sodas on tap, along with packaged sweets and nibbles. The area was very nice and I spent a while relaxing here with a hot chocolate on the way back every day. Definitely would stay here again.

The location was very convenient for my business meetings. The big mall closeby had many good restaurants. However, there was some insect in my room, and the A/C in the bar and in the breakfast area was extremely cold, so I was afraid I would get a cold. Service was very good however, we got help in arranging a car and the information about the insect issue was followed up on.

Great experience throughout!
It was drizzling when we arrived but the staff still rushed out and helped us with our luggage (really didn’t have to do so) but it shows their commitment to service.
They also have a huge comfortable lobby and plenty of notices on shuttle bus timings.
One time login wifi was awesome, connection was hassle free and fast.
Room was comfortable and spacious. Will recommend to others!
Note: Take their shuttle bus to the near MRT station (Nangang), from the hotel it takes about 35min to reach XiMenDing via shuttle+Public Transport (while it’s 25min by car assuming a no-jam scenario)

Location is not far from Metro and Taipei... Must take taxi to get Metro and then ~25 mins to get downtown 101 area. Hotel WiFi works well at ~ 27-28 Mbps steady and Ethernet port works. Building seems to have a lot of concrete and was hard to find room and areas in room, bwhere I could also use a SIM card hotspot signal that was fast enough (as a back up in event hotel WiFi failed).
Surrounding areas, not too much. But business park and Starbucks and Family Mart in North East 5-12 mins walk from hotel.
Staff very courteous and helpful. Room very nice. Heaters in each room. Quiet. Windows are think and don't open.

I specially brought my children to play, but the game room is very simple and requires a fee. The opening hours of the parent-child fitness center are very short and the space is not big. The hotel hardware is good although it is older, but it is still clean. There are really few service staff. All services are required. It’s really hard to wait and wait for breakfast. Many things are not replenished. The cafe on the first floor is also very hard to eat. It’s hard to believe that the food in this hotel is of this level. I was full of expectations for this hotel. Now I can only say that I probably won’t visit again.

GGuangchengI used it with my family. As I was looking for a place to stay, a man came looking for me on a motorbike and met me. When they arrived at the room they were shown to, the child was excited. Jiufen Old Street is also just a short walk up the stairs next to the hotel. He also gave me detailed information on recommended shops, which was very helpful. They also kindly made reservations for restaurants in Taipei, making it a perfect trip. The breakfast was delicious, and both children ate it all. I definitely want to use it again next time. It was 100% Japanese, and the cost performance was high. Thank you for a good time.

As we have to leave very early to the airport..without further words, Ms Yang was so meticulous enough to suggest Breakfast Bento ( attached is the nutritious 爱心bento ，thank you the kitchen staff for the preparation🙏 😍) and Mr Masaki handles our last minute request promptly in a professional way..The staff of Just Sleep Sanchong seem to know 读心术 & wil fulfill all your needs🥺😍. Second, even though the hotel is few years old but the room and all amenities are still in a very good condition. the comfortable bed, clean floor, good shower 👍 Real appreciate Mr Daniel for making up the rooms everyday and was very impressed by the sparkling clean toilet. Third, distance is not a problem at all as the Mrt station is just a few steps away.. PPBBA cute and nice bed-and-breakfast with multiple locations located in Jiufen. It is HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you CONTACT the HOTEL BEFORE ARRIVAL as the bed-and-breakfast has multiple locations and it’s hard to find them without proper direction. The streets of this town are very windy as it’s on a mountain so it’s even hard for taxi drivers to find hotel locations.
After I contacted the hotel, they were able to pick me up from a random spot that I got lost and direct me to my room. The room was very nice, very big, clean and located very close to the old street about a five minute walk up some stairs and also very close to family mart and 7-Eleven for all your needs.
Only thing is I would like if the hotel could provide more towels, hand towels, face towels would be nice. They only provided two full body towels, but other than that great place highly recommended because of its convenience in the area and the friendliness of their staff who also spoke English. 😊 they also provided a nice breakfast that was delivered to your room whenever you wanted in the morning.
They are also super great at providing a map of the town and giving you all the tips for your stay and telling you where to eat and the hours of these places.

JJoleneThe stay was excellent! Absolutely loved it! It was very near the main jiu fen street (just about a 3min walk) and the staff members were all super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and neat. The common areas are so beautifully decorated and there's plenty of space. I love how they prioritised this and not just turn everything into bedrooms. Very thoughtful of them.
Breakfast was simple but sufficient. You get porridge with a variety of dishes to go along with. They also have bread with butter/jam available.
The stay is located on top a flight of stairs. Our group traveled as a family with 2 senior citizens and the flight of stairs were a little tiring for them. Do take note if you're taveling with those who are older or have difficulties walking. It isn't too bad, but can definitely be tricky for some.
Overall, we had an absolutely lovely stay. This place is one of the prettiest out of the rest we scouted for jiu fen as well. It's a good pick and I would stay here again if I were to come back to jiu fen. Hope you find this helpful! Cheers!

AAnonymous UserA supposedly 4 star hotel that delivers the bare minimum. Nothing to shout about, had an unobjectionable stay here in January this year and was happy with the location and relatively clean room so decided to book again for 5 nights for my recent trip. Regretted my decision as I felt that the service was lackluster. Upon entering the room we saw that the double bed was made up by 2 twin beds unlike our initial experience so we approached the front desk to enquire if a change was possible as we do not like the feel of the gap between the beds and the light switches were behind our pillows making the lights on/off if we were to even lightly lean on the headboard.
The answer we got was that we should have indicated that request upon check in and it is a common process for hotels to join 2 twin beds and sell them as a double room. The front desk manager also said the check in rate was 98% that night. We then asked if we could have a change the next day and the reply was to come down and check again tmr. No effort to assist and instead all we felt was him trying the shift the blame to us when all we requested was a double bed when it is available. That left an extremely sour taste in our mouth.
The next morning, I woke up with red bites on my arms, legs and torso, however my partner didn't had any so I did not relate it to the cleanliness of the room. The next 2 morning remained to be the same and we requested a change of room which we were given. The itchiness subsided after the change. The staff also passed a cream for itchness to me. But she mentioned it may be mosquito bites which I can tell it isn't as they are in clusters.
Location was convenient for us as it is near the banqiao transfer station and there are food choices around the hotel as well as a few family marts.

PPIN YUWe walked in from Jiufen Old Street, which took about 20 minutes. When we came out of the B&B, we were near a great viewing platform with sea view. It was pretty good👍The interior of the room was similar to the one in the picture. Personally, I liked the small living room/bathroom and bed. There are curtains in the middle, which makes it easy to sleep when you close them at night. The bathroom and toilet facilities are average, the air conditioning is very strong, and the sound insulation is not very good. You can hear the voices in the next room, but it’s okay because the next room went to bed earlier than us🤣The lady at the counter is very kind

We arrived late in the afternoon at 5pm and were recommended to have food at the next building's restaurant, which were special and delicious. Walking distance to train station is about 10 to 13 minutes, which is reasonable. We also tried the sandwiches and coffee breakfast downstairs before departure. We really enjoyed our stay 4 nights there!

MMJ98Cleanliness - 4/5. The room was clean. What I saw from a few other reviews about this hotel that rated it low for cleanliness was in regards to complaints about the maintenance of the room. Yes, there were some areas of the room that required attention, like re-grouting the bathroom or fixing some wall paper and paint on the walls. However, these things do not make the room dirty. There were no dirty marks and there was no dust in the room. The eating could be 5/5 if those aesthetic issues were fixed but I believe the complaints of other guests about the room to be unwarranted.
Location - The location is excellent, only a short walk to the old street and the view from the property speaks for itself.
Service - The owner was very friendly and explained everything to us clearly. He provided us with a tour of the museum and he was very knowledgeable. He helped us with everything we needed, such as providinh us with an additional towel.
Amenities - There is a water fountain for both hot and cold water for use by all guests. In the room there are some tea bags and cups too. The hotel also provided us with toothbrushes and toothpaste.
