The Rezen Retreat·Four Seasons Manju Hot Spring Hotel (Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area) is one of the newest hotels in Jiuzhaigou, having opened in 2022. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Jiuzhaigou Tibetan King Square, Jiuzhaigou "Zangwang Banquet" Performance and Tibetan and Qiang Ethnic Song and Dance Theater all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Jiuzhaigou hotel provides parking on site. Germaphobes can rest easy - the level of cleanliness is highly rated at this hotel. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

Our stay at Rezen Retreat-Four Seasons, located just a 5-minute walk from the Jiuzhaigou Valley entrance, was a blend of positives and areas needing improvement. The Japanese-style room with floor heating initially felt elegant and cozy. However, the experience was overshadowed by some challenges. We noticed stains on the toilet bowl upon check-in, which indicated that cleaning could have been more thorough. Although housekeeping responded quickly, the cleaner only wiped the surface, leaving room for improvement in addressing the issue.
Later in the evening, the heater malfunctioned as temperatures outside dropped to -2°C. While the room’s floor heating was a thoughtful addition, it didn’t compensate for the lack of overall heating. When we requested a room change, the hotel declined and instead sent a technician to address the issue. While the problem was resolved, it meant waiting in discomfort, which could have been avoided with better preparation and more focus on guest convenience.
The hotel’s location and room design are definite strengths, but attention to maintenance and cleanliness would significantly enhance the guest experience. With some improvements, this hotel could truly match its potential. For now, guests may want to manage expectations when staying here.

Pretty old hotel. Room was average, as we were given the old room. Quite clean though. I believed there are some newly renovated rooms. Can walk to Jiuzhaigou entrance along the stream behind the hotel. But about 20-30mins stroll. Quite an enjoyable walk though as you get the view of mountain and stream and row of shops along the walk. The yak meat hot pot restaurant is good. I believe this should be one of the better dining options if you are looking for quality food and service.

The whole service experience was excellent, and the details were carefully considered. During the stay, the staff not only prepared small gifts, but also carefully decorated the room, making people feel at home with warmth and care. Zhuoma and Nieba's service was particularly professional. They were patient and meticulous, always paying attention to the needs of the guests, and showing extremely high service standards. From check-in to check-out, every link was in order, and the thoughtfulness and enthusiasm of the service staff made the whole experience smoother and more pleasant.
The housekeeper team also performed well, with professional and meticulous service, fully demonstrating their high level of reception ability. Although there were many guests staying this time, the housekeepers still tried their best to provide thoughtful service within a limited time and ensured that we had a comfortable experience. Although the time for communication and interaction with them was relatively limited, their professionalism and warm reception could still be felt.
What is most commendable is that they not only met basic needs, but also improved the overall accommodation experience through delicate service, which truly embodied the first-class service level. I look forward to having more on-site interactions with the housekeeper team next time, enjoying more in-depth companionship and personalized services, making the whole journey more enriching and memorable.

Absolutely gorgeous villa style hotel with great service provided by Eve and her colleagues. Eve was responsive and checked in with us to ensure that we had all we needed for a stay. The housekeeping team was also prompt with our requests. Buggy can take a while to arrive during breakfast peak hours. You could tell that the room heater had been turned on hours pre-arrival to welcome its guests warmly.
Room had a beautiful mountain view and the toilets were huge. Though we had some issues with opening and closing the sliding door at the toilet it, wasnt too big an issue. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting jiuzhaigou!

For self-driving and family travel, the hotel should be the best choice for Jiuzhaigou.
Although it is at a disadvantage in terms of distance and convenience compared to the hotels at the entrance of the valley, as a traditional luxury brand, it is quite guaranteed in terms of hardware, products and service levels, and can provide extra surprises. Sufficient space makes the whole experience very good.

I have to say that the service in the hotel is super good. The front desk staff is very polite and considerate. Especially when I left something behind, they were very enthusiastic to help me find it back. This is very responsible. The environment is great, and the indoor environment is also good. The breakfast was the same during my 3-day stay, with limited variety. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay.

GGuest UserVery satisfied with the stay. The room is comfortable, the bedding is also comfortable. Although the location is not at the entrance of the scenic area, the homestay can arrange for pick-up at the gully entrance, which is very convenient for a ten-minute journey. Compared with the noise at the gully entrance, it is quiet and tidy here. The service is quite good, the feedback is quick and considerate. The hotel's catering must also be praised. It is cooked to order, and the vegetables are all grown by farmers in the surrounding area. The freshness and taste are really something that city people can't eat. We directly gave up the restaurants near the gully entrance and enjoyed several meals here. If I come to Jiuzhaigou again in autumn, I will definitely choose Linshuijian.

CCarlosExcellent hotel. It is about 11 kilometres (7 miles) away from the Jiuzhaigo national park but there were always taxis or didi around and they charged between 40 and 45 yuan.
I think what I liked the most is the decoration and choice of colour palette. Gold, light browns, silver and a hint of red. All very *******.
The staff were super nice. They were not fluent in English but they are always willing to be helpful. A translation app is advisable if you have a non-standard request.
I recommend the breakfast and buffet dinner - wide selection- as well as the a la carte restaurant (Simmer). Prices for food were very good value for money.

TTripzeiraThe hotel room is comfortable, but the reality is a bit different from the videos and pictures in the app. The hot spring pool was not working, the breakfast place is freezing cold, what makes the food to be cold minutes after we put in our plate. It has a good variety of food for breakfast anyway. The floor heating in the room was the best part. Also the receptionist was very helpful when I need something, we were communicating by WeChat. Another good point is that the hotel has a restaurant, so you don’t need to go out to find food. I used the transfer service to go to the scenic spot, It was also good.

GGuest UserThe first time I traveled far away, I chose Hilton Garden Inn when I came to Jiuzhaigou. Because it is the peak season for traveling in Jiuzhaigou, the express hotels close to the scenic spot are close to 1,000 yuan per night, and the conditions are naturally incomparable to Hilton. As soon as I registered at the front desk, I got a room upgrade. Because I had a little altitude sickness before, I was afraid that I would be uncomfortable. The lobby manager also gave me a can of oxygen. It was really thoughtful 😘 The service staff was small and would ask about my accommodation requirements in advance. It was really pleasant to communicate! The upgraded one-bedroom and one-living room room made me feel relaxed and happy when I entered the door. A full-length mirror and a stereo, plus a separate cloakroom, and a separate washroom. It really makes people feel clean and comfortable, and the joy of traveling is doubled 😁 The breakfast is complete, and friends from the north and south can find their favorite food. In addition, Hilton also has a free shuttle bus to and from Jiuzhaigou, which varies in different seasons. This can save dozens of taxi fees. If you want to eat local food, there are several good restaurants near the hotel. It is up to you to choose, and basically all the dishes are large. The friends I met in Jiuzhaigou were all warm and friendly. The scenery was beautiful and the people were simple. Next time I come to Jiuzhaigou, I will still choose to stay here.

GGuest UserIt’s located in a very convenient location that close to the show’s theater, I mean walkable. And many restaurants are around it, no worries about dining or drinking.
The hotel is also quiet cleaning as much as meets a Japanese’ expectations. The staffs are super friendly, feel free to ask them any of assistance if you needed.
I really enjoyed the breakfast.
Highly recommended.
Definitely I will be returning again.

JJesyca TashiiHotel location is very strategic; it is located in between jiuzhaigou sceneric area and Pengfeng Village.
On its right side is Jiuzhaigou Sceneric Area entrance (max 10 mins walk) and on its left side Pengfeng Village (600 m away). For those who are unware, Pengfeng Village is the dropping point of Jiuyue bus service that drove passengers from Jiuzhaigou Railway station to Jiuzhaigou Sceneric Area.
The room itself is spacious, warm, with good setting of hot-cold water.
The hotel can also help to arrange back-forth transportation going to Huanglong Park & Songpan; and connects guests with private sharing mini van service for a more relax - comfortable trip back to the railway station.
The cons for staying in the hotel , however, were :
1. My room wasn't cleaned properly for consecutively
2 nights out of 4 nights of staying.
2. Few front desk officers communication skills need
an upgrade, esp when talking to foreign guests. A
clearer & more transparent communication from
front desk will be appreciated to avoid potential
unpleasant miss-understandings.
3. One of the paid car drivers, which hotel connects
me with for return trip from Huanglong Park,
tries to violate time agreement I had with
front desk hotel, which ending upsets me.
Later though,, when I addressed my complaints directly to the hotel, they stepped up and quickly addressed the issues; both to room division & car service companies. And (together with the new driver), tried to make the rest of my stay & trip back to railway station as comfortable as possible. Just like what any IHSG group hotels would do.
I have always prefered IHSG group hotel. And hence, though my issues were taken care of, I still think it was unfortunate to have gone through such experiences with a big brand.
I also hope hotel can prevent the same issues from happening to other guests onwards. Because aside from those issues, the hotel is a good choice of staying.

GGuest UserThe location of this inn is literally in the centre of the town, which provides easy access to restaurants (for ******* food and BBQ, can ask for recommendations from the inn owner Xiao Bi or Mr Feng) and the most famous show ”Jiu Zai Qian Gu Qing” (highly recommended even if you can't speak Chinese)(15 mins walk). Although it is a bit distant from the national park entrance (10 mins driving distance), the owner Mr. Feng offered free transportation taking us there and picking us up.
The owners were really friendly and helpful. There is an in-house restaurant which serves local specialties such as highland beef hotpot and wild mushroom free range chicken hotpot. The home-made honey yogurt barley wheat bread was super delicious. We had to leave early for a bus back to Chengdu (7.45am), Xiao Bi made an effort to get up early to cook us noodles for breakfast.
Beautiful scenery around the Inn. The inn was converted from a traditional ******* property. The rooms were decorated and furnished in a Chinese style and each bed comes with its own panda. The inn provides disposable towels every day, which is probably not everyone's cup of tea, as they are quite small if you have long hair, but there is a hair dryer available.
This inn is for people who like to enjoy the slow pace of life in the Highlands (you can't rush physically as you could easily get out of breath due to low oxygen levels) and who like social interaction with other travellers and inn owners.
The owners are not English speaking but they have no problems communicating with non Chinese speakers using a translation app.

1) For young travelers looking for a homestay experience that feels less commercial but is friendly and unique, you can book this hotel, and you won't regret it!
2) As this is animal friendly homestay, my initial concerns about hygiene and cleanliness were eliminated immediately upon entering the lobby. There were no strange odors indoors or in the surrounding hotel areas, which was a pleasant surprise!
3) As the hotel is located behind a restaurant and the pathway to the entrance is a ramp. You can inform the hotel about your arrival time through WeChat, and they will come out to help with your luggage when you arrived. Good service and friendly indeed!
4) Honorable mention for their services and facilities:
a) They were happy to change/upgrade my room when I told them I booked the wrong type. (Only when there are other rooms available)
b) Other than floor heating, their toilet seat has a heating function too.
c) They can reserve the afternoon teatime set until you return back to hotel but must notify them one day in advance.
d) There is washing & drying machine available! Free to use for hotel guest!
These overall experiences were too good that it truly worth my time to give long review with photos. Keep up the good work!
