Villa Concetta

The photos of this villa are misleading as this is an apartment on the ground floor of the villa where the owners live and the upper floors are separate apartment rentals. We arrived on a late flight and the owner was not welcoming at all . Svetlana the property manager was very friendly and helpful but she was not on site and we communicated by Whats App after the first day. Essentials should have been readily available but this was not the case. We were told that the apartment would be cleaned twice during our 10 day stay and if we wanted clean towels, sheets or toilet paper we just had to ask. We should not have to ask for essentials. On day 5, I asked when we would get some cleaning and fresh towels and was told it would be that day but there was no cleaning. The kitchen is very tired and was dirty on arrival, I was not prepared to cook in it. The outside area, pool and garden is well maintained but the interior is not and the bins were not emptied in 10 days. The owners have dogs and there was yapping on and off all day and sometimes at night. It is close to the main area of Sorrento but the walk is mainly uphill and the final part is very uneven and unsightly.
