Red Roof Inn Socorro

Prices at some other hotels were very high so I decided to give this [new?] place a try. I was happy overall. It is an old-style motor-court motel. the room was clean and well equipped. Comfortable bed. There was one downside, the breakfast was minimal and it was not ready when I showed up in the morning, but that might have been my fault for getting the hour wrong?

It's all new! Completely remodeled rooms. Everything is new. Except the door knob on the bathroom, that was weird.

Very disappointed with this place! The bedding was clean, but the bathroom needs to be updated. No amenities! Breakfast was not much, coffee all gone, no hot water for instance oatmeal. Dirty outside. You get what you pay for! I’ve stayed at other Baymont and they were all fine.

the property had comfortable bed and pet friendly. could definately be cleaner, could see light all around door. felt uncomforatible and did not take shower. grounds needed swept and washed down lots of glass in driveway. trash was wide open. expected more from the Windham s Property apparently was updated by previous company but that appears to be years ago. needs substancial investment to get it up to reasonable quality standard. Floor in dining room was water damaged and while photos look good, the reality of the rooms and property were substandard. And as my wife just added. "thats as kind as we can be. "

it was an amazing stay, very quite and very friendly. now I know where to stay next time I"m in of Socorro

Don’t let the outside fool you. It does look a little ruff. But the rooms are very nice. Very clean and well appointed. I will stay there again if I drive through the area in the future. The young man at the desk was a kind and considerate person.

Was ok. Stay at the Econo lodge if you have a choice. When we checked in they couldn’t find my reservation, and I gave the the number, email ect from *******. Pool has algae growing in it. It’s a beautiful green color. They don’t pull the ****s in the parking lot and in front of the rooms. Which should tell you everything you need to know. No pride in ownership. And we didn’t receive maid service. And I don’t know why they skipped our room. And the free breakfast was a bowl of cereal. The waffle machine was broke. And coffee you have to be desperate to drink. Sorry to the owners, but this could be a nice little place to stay if they would just take care of their place. Last choice next time we go to Socorro.

Room was very clean and equipped with nice TV, refrigerator and microwave. Will be staying here on all future trips through the area. It was the best motel experience we've had in a very long time.

Ok, but not great. Front desk check in was easy and informative, check out was as well. Room was mostly clean, but bathroom needs repair, calking had been falling out, mildew, the AC worked well but was loud, and the internet is not good as it continuously dropped out. The pool looked very nice but didn't use. Breakfast was minimally stocked and the coffee was cold and not refreshed. That said it was a place to stay.
