Nice Hotel with great views , cannot fault the hotel .Our week visit was on a B&B basis , the breakfeast was of a high standard and the staff were most helpful and attentive . There are two pools one for the children and one for the adults, and a life guard on duty all the time . The beach club serves some nice meals and the there are plenty of sun beds on the beach and around the pool area. We had a garden view over looking the well tendered gardens . There are some steps to the rooms depends which rooms you are allocated which you need consider when booking for those less mobile .Would visit the hotel again for our holiday. Big plus the bus stop number 16 is just outside the hotel which takes you into skiathos town for 2 Euros. 7 day stay from the 10 -7 May 2025

We arrived on the first day of the season at around 8.15 pm. It took reception three attempts to process our payment of the Tourist Tax, on the basis that they could not allow us to occupy our room until it was paid and were not sure how to process the payment.(pre opening training?). Having unpacked,we looked over to the Pool Bar for a decent coffee, which was closed by 9pm . When we tried the Beach Bar just before 10pm,we were informed that the coffee machine had already been cleaned and was no longer available. Not an auspicious start ! The expected hot water in our room turned out to be barely tepid and had not improved the next day. It was reported to reception twice over the next two days and no explanation by either letter or telephone call was provided by the hotel management. At Breakfast on the second morning the specialist coffee machine in the main restaurant had broken down and was still like that when we departed.(pre -opening service??). On the third morning ,we reported the hot water problem to our JET2 Customer Helper,Jenee,who took up the cudgels for us and other guests, obtaining a compensation payment for us,to be paid when back in UK. Thanks to her. The saving grace for the hotel generally were the staff who were friendly and helpful ,especially Fotini, the manager of the Beach Bar,whose name means "light" and so she proved to be. We had visited the hotel a few times before and not had problems, so we hope that this experience has been a "one off" as it was not what we had expected from a "five star hotel" this time.

We went to the princess hotel for lunch , as we have over many years. The service at the beach restaurant this morning was absolutely dreadful, totally ignored when asking for the lunchtime menu and told there by a waiter there was no fish wrong time of year , as we left we saw the local fishmonger making a delivery. Never again what a disappointment.

What a filthy place !! The inside might be nice but they don’t care about the surroundings. The used napkins just thrown behind the building and the bins are disgusting The beach has lovely sun beds but the amount of plastic everywhere. What ashame

We stayed in a family deluxe garden room. These rooms are great and really work well with children due to the partition. We really enjoyed using this hotel as a base to explore Skiathos. We especially liked the pool and local area. We will be back ....

Lovely hotel and great staff. Looking at previous reviews saying there is no shade on the beach. There are plenty of umbrella with the sun beds, what more shade do you want? Grounds of the hotel are very green Food great selection and always have been very good.

I have nothing negative to say about the Skiathos Princess Hotel. It’s in a stunning location (Agia Paraskevi), has its own private beach, with the most comfortable sun loungers….including the ones around the pool. We stayed from the 18-25th of September, had no issues getting sunbeds for 4 of us. Breakfast was yummy, with lots of different options 😋 a special mention to the lovely Katie who we chatted to most mornings 💕 (have a safe flight home on Sunday). Staff were super helpful and friendly. Rooms cleaned daily. This was our 1st visit to Skiathos and definitely not our last! Such a beautiful, uncommercialised Island 😍

My wife and I spent 10 nights at the 5-star Skiathos Princess Resort from 1st to 11th September. The resort is in a prime position, right on the beach in Agia Paraskevi. The buildings and grounds are to a very high standard and all the staff are very friendly and efficient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay but, as is often the case, we feel that there is room for improvement in some areas. In a spirit of constructive criticism, I would like to mention the following: 1. On arrival, there was no information booklet in the room, only a QR code which I had difficulty accessing on my smartphone. Reception staff were unable to provide a printed copy but they did eventually help me read the document on my phone. 2. There are plenty of very comfortable sunbeds at the pool and on the beach which are free of charge and towels are also provided. Surprisingly, there appeared to be no attempt to prevent non-residents using these sunbeds. Reserving sunbeds with towels was widespread. 3. There was no evening entertainment in the hotel although this had been advertised by Jet2 Holidays. 4. Our room (number 362) was spacious and well-furnished with a partial sea view. As it is on the third floor and there is no lift there were quite a few steps to reach it. The room was cleaned every day. 5. The air-conditioning appeared to have only two settings: on and off. There was no option to adjust the temperature or fan speed. 6. The over-bath shower was difficult to use without flooding the bathroom floor. A simple shower curtain would be more effective than the ill-fitting shower screen. 7. There was no facility on the balcony to dry wet swimsuits. I hope these comments are helpful.
