Skiathos Palace Hotel

這個酒店非常不錯！ 很滿意！

On first glance as we walked through reception I thought wow. That is until we got to our room. Superior room with sea view. The view was superior but that’s where it ended. I’ve seen better balconies at Butlins. Mouldy pictures on the wall. The bathroom door had about 3 inches missing from it at the bottom and wouldn’t close properly. Kettle in room but nothing to go with it. Mini fridge in room but not allowed to put your own stuff in it. The pool area was ok, again the views were fabulous but the ladders to get into the pool felt like they were going to come off & the pool was not big enough for the number of rooms. The sunbeds ( if you could get one) were so close together there was no room to manoeuvre. We only stayed bed & breakfast it was ok but not. 5*. The location was ok for the kookanaries beach but other than that it’s very isolated. Maratha beach still charged 20€ a day even though the hotel stated that it’s their private beach. Entertainment was pretty much non existent other than a couple of nights they had Greek music. This hotel is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The good points- the maids did a fab job & the hotel was spotlessly clean. The shuttle bus from the beaches were great & the shuttle bus into town. The view from the bar terrace was amazing. The staff on reception were very helpful. Especially Constantina what a lovely smiley helpful young lady she is. I would imagine that this hotel back in the day would’ve been a 5* hotel but definately not now. I would say 3* maximum. Skiathos as a whole is a beautiful island I will be back next year but will stay somewhere else!!

Beautiful hotel with incredible views. The room was perfectly clean. The free hotel shuttles made getting into town super easy. The rooftop restaurant is a must go! All staff were lovely and helpful especially Maria and Despina. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is situated on one of the hill tops with spectacular views, some of the best I have seen. The service and facilities are great and perfect for what we wanted. It was clean and the staff were very helpful. The only issue was the breakfast buffet. There was plenty of variety, very tasty but unfortunately it was always cold. They didn’t have under heaters for the food trays, there were only heat lamps. The surrounding area was a little tired but I believe this is due to storm they experienced in September 2023. I would go back and visit again.

We were very much in need of having a relaxed and stress free holiday due to difficult health issues in the months prior. Skiathos Palace Hotel did not disappoint. Its prime location, royally elevated above the sea, Koukounaries beach and the pine forests beyond, was uplifting in itself. The facilities are first rate: the rooms are comfortable and regularly attended to; the pool area is wonderful and the extensive buffet breakfasts in the open air are enjoyable. Staff are cheery and friendly and reception staff are very helpful. There is a regular and reliable bus service, or for the more adventurous, a water taxi, to Skiathos Town which is characterful with a lively harbour area & with vantage points to see the incoming planes. In Koukounaries itself there is a reasonable choice of friendly Greek eateries, with scenic pine forest walks to a variety of beautiful beaches. What a tonic! We shall definitely return.

Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Friendly and welcoming management and staff, as always. Comfortable and clean accommodation. The TUI rep was very helpful. We've stayed here many times over the years and are returning in 2025.
