The Tree

We had such a lovely one night stay at the Tree. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were only there of one night and the manager gave us a free upgrade to the Penthouse suite without us asking. This room is big, very clean, comfortable bed and a great balcony with sea view. Perfect location in the town for the old and new ports and for restaurants. Perfect place for a stay in lovely Skiathos,

We ( my husband, my 2.5 year old and myself) stayed at The Tree for one night, we have been staying on a neighbouring island and decided to travel to skiathos a day before our flight so we could all get a good night sleep and not travel early. We stayed in the superior suite the double bed mattress was new and comfortable and the apartment was clean except for the shower / bathroom which contained hair and an iffy smell. There was some marks on a couple of the pillows so we chose not to use those ones. The room itself is modern and nicely presented. You got free bottles of wine and water, shampoo etc. but I am glad I only stayed one night as we all got absolutely NO sleep at all The Gin bar below played incredibly loud music until 3-4am people were shouting, I don’t actually understand how anyone could hear anyone talk at the bar! then at 6am there was loud banging! While the hotel must be aware as they provide ear plugs, this is no use for a 2 year old, for this reason I would never stay here again. We are EXHAUSTED!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY. We arrived in "The Tree" and the air conditioning in the room was not working. In fact our rooms were furnaces. We called the owner, who mockingly told us he would call a technician while we were out for dinner. We came back and the room was even hotter than before and the air conditioner was still broken. Nobody answers our calls and we can't sleep in the room. In the middle of July this is not possible. We had to take a mattress to a different room and sleep on the floor.
