The hostel was better on the website, we was a little bit confused by the size of the room and the staff on the breakfast was unfriendly and somewhat absent. Not enough shampoo by the way. Backrooms vibes

Do not, I repeat, do not pay the city tax in cash to Barbara. She is at the front desk and when we arrived she asked for us to pay right away the city tax (6 euros) in cash only for our two night stay. When we checked out there was no information about this transaction. The other lady at the front desk called Barbara and she denied to have received it!!! I sincerely hope the owner of this hotel read this and pay more attention to Barbara’s behavior towards their customers. The reception is not on sight from the entrance, which is confusing. We had to park a few blocks away since they don't have parking on site. The hotel is very noisy at night. We heard some other clients complaining about the noise downstairs on Friday and Saturday night as well. The lady in charge of the breakfast room was nice and polite. The hotel was well located, but other than that it is not recommended.

The place is horrible. If it had been cheap I wouldn’t complain but it was a $150/night stay. I left the hotel after finding a beautiful brand new boutique hotel 3 blocks away for the same price. The entrance is dirty and scary. You have to ring a bell to be let in and take a dirty dated elevator where the lobby is. The only person working there greets you. He didn’t speak English or Spanish. The bathroom is the best feature. It looked recently renovated. But the bed had a noisy and hard mattress. It was impossible to make the AC work decently…in the Sicilian heat of August! The air coming out was hard to feel. The hallways, the room itself…everything was old and smelly. The paid breakfast was a ticket to go to a bar across the street and get coffee plus a sweet or a salty think (according to the English of the reception person) I threw my money making the reservation. I left and booked another hotel.

Hotel correcto, con lo básico , limpio y silencioso. Desayuno correcto, no muy variado. Muy buena ubicación, casi entrando a Ortigia, q es donde está todo lo qué hay que visitar en Siracusa. Asíntota ser nada especial , lo recomendaría, tiene lo justo para pasar no más de dos noches.

Sin dall'entrata, posta in una puzzolente via fognaria, si percepisce la scarsa altezzosità del posto. Subito un'enigma: ascensore con tasti fino al nono piano sebbene di piani ce ne fossero solo 3. Giunti in camera: la più pura mediocrità. Soffitti beige e altissimi e desolazione. Tuttavia i confortevoli talami e cuscini ci hanno donato preziose ore di sonno. Bagno non ventolato e con una finestrella non accessibile se si è alti meno di 3 metri. Doccia tutta da rivisitare: si rischia l'ipotermia e l'ustione nel giro di 20 secondi. Colazione adatta alle Muse. Notevole il plumcake. Anche se non alloggiate nel terzo piano: recativici. La terrazza piccolo gioiello nascosto nel cuore di Siracusa con limpida vista sull'orizzonte marino. Nonostante le varie intemperie, la pulizia non mancò. Non ci tornerei ma adatto per gruppi di giovani intrepidi. Un ringraziamento speciale alla meravigliosa barbara, salvatrice della vita di un'amica cara.

Der Safe würde mit neuen Batterien sicher funktionieren, aber die Dame an der Rezeption zuckt nur gelangweilt mit den Schultern. Die Seifenreste von Vorbewohnern in der Dusche - na und...? Wer jetzt auch nur gleichgültig die Schultern zuckt ist hier genau richtig, ansonsten empfehle ich dringend ein anderes Hotel !!! Wir mussten im Rahmen einer geführten Rundreise 2 Nächte hier verbringen und alle (in jedem Zimmer war etwas nicht in Ordnung) waren sich einig: ganz mieses Hotel mit gleichgültigem Personal !

Pessimo è dir poco..abbiamo prenotato due camere. All’arrivo abbiamo trovato una bella sorpresa… la signorina Carlotta alla reception ci ha venduto una camera per diversamente abili a nostra insaputa. All ultimo minuto non sapevamo dove cercare altro per andare via. Ovviamente la soluzione proposta a questo inconveniente da parte della proprietaria è stato lo sconto, poiché sprovvisti di altre camere sostitutive. Nel panico più totale,saremmo voluti andare via e cercare un altro Hotel ma dopo una giornata di viaggio sarebbe stato un ulteriore disagio per noi. Decidiamo a questo punto di rimanere a dormire a malincuore visto che le stanze matrimoniali avevano due letti singoli uniti e inoltre avevamo un solo bagno da condividere per 4 persone e su due piani diversi. Tengo a precisare che il bagno della camera alla quale ci siamo appoggiati era su un piano disposto su una terrazza. Al mattino non vedevamo l ora di pagare e andarcene ma al momento del pagamento, oltre al danno la beffa, la proprietaria in modo sarcastico ci ha detto che nessuno ci aveva costretti a rimanere e che per appoggiarci al bagno dell altra stanza, bastava prendere l ascensore. L’unica nota positiva è stata Valentina alla quale va la nostra unica stella che è stata all altezza di gestire la situazione e che ci ha saputo consigliare i posti dove mangiare e da visitare. Per il resto a mai più!

non c'era acqua calda per entrambi i giorni. Dopo la prima notte mi era stato detto che il problema si era risolto e l'acqua era effettivamente tiepida ma il secondo giorno è tornata fredda.
