I booked a club lounge access staycation from trip.com. Upon checking in at the hotel, I was told that as I only indicated my name during the trip.com booking, so only one person could access the club lounge and breakfast for one. If I want extra pax to access club lounge, I need to top up $50++ per pax per day.
I searched my booking and showed the hotel staff that I had paid for breakfast for 2. I called the trip.com hotline to inform them about what happened. Trip.com said he would call me in 15 min.
15 min later, trip.com said 2 ppl could access the club lounge as their side had added another name. Happy ending, I thought so.
We (2 ppl) went to access the club lounge between 6-8pm then the hotel staff saw me and said "one person only". I was taken aback by such remark. I replied please check your system, 2 names were added. Then we were allowed to enter club lounge.
The next 2 days, when we went for breakfast, it was always indicated as for one pax. The hotel staff would have to call to check whether the package had breakfast for 2 pax.
The 2 room keys were faulty and I would have to go to counter to fix one of the room keys every day as I couldn't enter the room.
