At first I booked the Standard Double, and it was very dirty and maintenance was bad. There were ants on the wall and in the bathroom as well. You can tell they skipped out on cleaning it as either not many people stayed there, or they just focused more on the more expensive rooms. However, their customer service more than made up for the bad room. When we called to feedback about the dirty cups, kettle, ants and air conditioning which was barely cold, the receptionist was more than willing to help us. The hotel was full on 21 May night we checked in, so they helped us as much as they can on the night and gave us a free room upgrade the next morning. The room upgrade was good, even though you can tell the rooms are a little old but they gave us a clean room that time!
