Atha Resort

Really nice experience in this cute hotel. Amazing cabin and installations. The attention and manner were exceptional, especially Indeesha.

Overall we had a great stay the rooms are very nice , the pool beautiful and the staff willing to please. The best rooms are the top floor rooms looking into the garden or looking towards the rock itself It’s hard to tell but seems to be the nicest place in Sigirya . I did lots of walking and never saw anywhere that looked even close Then we have the food ? Well some of it was the best food we had in Sri Lanka Lanka …rice and curry magnificent…breakfast off the charts so many different flavours and the presentation was beautiful. They also made a huge effort to cook special things my wife ordered and finding her local fruit and cutting coconuts out of the garden We had one bad meal which was a western one but all the rest of the food we had was top class The team led by Ishan are all extremely nice trying to help you in anyway they can. In terms of value all in I doubt you will find somewhere better anywhere in Asia if you look at what you pay for what you get. This will tell you how much we liked it we are staying a further 4 nights on the way back to Colombo. My new home in Sri Lanka thank you !

Stayed two nights, three couples and each of us had slightly different rooms - we overlooked the pool; another the gardens and a third upstairs overlooking gardens. This resort is eco friendly and so well thought out. The staff were amazing - so helpful and always checking everything was okay. Rooms were not large and a bit dark because of the wood paneling; the bathroom was small but a large shower- could do worth a shelf for putting your belongings on but not a major. Breakfast was huge and cooked freshly for you. We had dinner there both nights and it was fabulous- fresh flavors with produce from their own gardens. Hat a little house that roamed around the property! Pool not big but perfectly adequate - not a lot of seating around it.

Incredible hotel, like being in paradise. Food is amazing, and lodge. pool and staff outstanding. If you are travelling to lion rock or on safari this offers the perfect pace to relax afterwards. I would go be half board s the dinner is excellent. 100% recommend.

Very modern and spotless rooms laid out in a very pretty garden. Extremely comfortable bed and nice big towels. Evening meal was very tasty. The Indian curry meal takes 1hr to prepare so it’s a good idea to put your order in before you arrive at the restaurant. There was enough rice for two in the curry meal option but not enough of other dishes so no good for sharing. Breakfast is a set menu with choice of English or Sri Lanka. English consists of tea, coffee, fruit, assorted bread and an egg cooked to your specifications. Staff all friendly and helpful.

A well designed property that has some of the best staff and food we experienced on our trip to Sri Lanka. Really wish our schedule could have changed so we could have stayed longer. The restaurant was top class with an amazing spread for breakfast and great choices for dinner. The rooms were amazing and the grounds were very well designed.
