"Don't book this hotel, they are scammers! When I arrived at the hotel, they told me that there were no rooms, and they resold me to another small hotel. From the reviews, I know that they are repeat offenders. I don't understand why the Ctrip platform didn't deal with it. They said there was a problem with the room, but it still showed that there were rooms online, and they didn't mention that there were no rooms when I called to inquire before arriving. It was a deliberate deception. If travel time was not precious, I really wanted to argue with them. The conditions of the small hotel they resold were much worse, and I couldn't even take a hot shower. Scammers!"

"Visited Water Garden Sigiriya during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year with my family, and truly it was a really nice break. We booked a villa with a private pool, and the room itself was spacious and well designed. The pool was a hit with the kids, they spent most of their time there. Even we ended up enjoying it more than we expected. Food was another highlight. They had a five course a la carte menu, and what I liked was they were quite flexible. We asked to adjust a few dishes to suit our taste and they were more than happy to do it, which was a nice touch. Service overall was very friendly and relaxed. Special mention to Mithun who was assigned to our villa. He really made sure everything was taken care of and helped make the stay more comfortable for us. Only small thing during April it’s really hot in this area, but they have done their maximum best to make sure the environment is nice and cool. Overall, it was a very great stay and a good choice for a family trip, especially during a holiday period like New Year. I also recommend this to any tourist this is visiting the Sigiriya area. This is a must stay hotel if you are visiting this area in Sri Lanka."

"Beautiful entrance and outdoor reception. Friendly and attentive staff. Clean and spacious room. Working safe and large bathroom, ac working effectively. Restaurant good and bar area good. Some staff with little English but others help when necessary. The pool is a basic rectangle but clean and an infinity pool looking at the forest. Towels available and subbed, never busy when we used it. Swing too and treetop restaurant available on request. We saw wildlife around but not scarily; a water monitor lizard on the grass by pool and monkey by reception 🫶🏼. There were other facilities that we didn’t make use of and the only suggestion is more information on what is available. A great location to stay if you plan on seeing Sigiriya’s Lion Rock, Minneriya Elephant Safaris, Habarana cultural centre or a Village Tour."

"Magical treehouse jungle stay! Amazing to listen to the birds, rain and nature as you go to sleep and wake up. A real nature retreat, outside treehouse. Clean (of course some bugs as it’s outside, but not many), friendly staff and loads to do! An amazing experience to stay here. All you could need for a basic outdoorsy stay, shower/bathroom, bedroom etc. (no fancy bits eg hair dryer, but that’s not why we booked) a real Eco / nature experience! Loads to do in the are, walks/views, safari, bird watching, temples etc. Breakfast there’s tea/coffee, fresh fruit, toast and eggs and for lunch/dinner lovely vegetarian restaurant 2min walk next door (we went 3 times!) Overall worth a visit for the experience which we throughly enjoyed."

Our trip to Sigiriya was made perfect by the genuine hospitality and the great amenities at Cloudz Sigiriya. The setting is simply gorgeous; it’s a beautifully tranquil area that provides the peace needed to fully de-stress. We must praise the culinary team. The great chef is a hidden gem; the menu of delicious local and international food was extensive, fresh, and prepared with remarkable skill—the perfect fuel for exploring the nearby ancient sites. For relaxation, the spacious pool is huge, clean, and perfectly maintained. A showstopper was the modern design of our room's private open-air shower. "A most amazing place to spend a few days exploring Sigiriya. The location is set on a beautiful lake with views of the two rocks which you can climb during your stay. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. The food was amazing too. Would definitely return to this hotel if we came back to visit Sri Lanka again."

"We family of four from Chennai, India stayed here on 26th July. Place is calm, very spacious, neatly maintained... More than that great team of people headed by Mr Roshan (think correctly i remember his name) We opted for half board... (much needed for places like this. Otherwise you need much much trained people to locate good restaurant) Both dinner and breakfast served by them will be in our memory ... a full course, served with so love ❤️ 😍 Thanks for the team... and also owner & creator of this facility"
