Christakis

We stayed here for a week may 12th. Pool is lovely and sunbeds are good quality and you never have to fight to get one. Room was dated but that didn’t bother us too much as we only slept there…beds are comfortable. Free aircon and fridge in the room. Only thing I could moan about is I paid extra for a se view with balcony but this was shared and felt we were on top of our neighbours. All staff are lovely and happy to help Melanie was a great help ringing to pharmacy to see if there were open has my partner had an infected mosquito bite.

Had the best time here! My sister in law and I picked this hotel as it is right on the ***** and as 2 girls in there 30s we thought it would be safer than walking back and we liked the fact A/C was included. Location is absolutely brilliant. So glad we chose here, the hotel is spotless. Big room with a huge balcony (lovely pool/sea view for us!) plenty of space for our mountain of clothes! Shower and A/C really good! Kostas is doing an amazing job of taking care of us all and updating the hotel, with the new front seating area, beautiful pergola area out the back. There is even a flower wall in the dining room and salt lamp candle holders which is lovely. Lots of sunloungers which were really nice quality too. The staff are amazing and all so kind and friendly. Melanie and the other lady on reception, (I want to say pauline) Dimitris and Nikos all looked after us so well and kept us entertained. Shout out to our lovely Yannis the night manager who looked after us so kindly when we came in 'merry' he is an angel on earth! One thing to note- the drinks here were all top shelf which compared to some of the firewater I had on the ***** was a god-send so defo get to the bar first!! We felt so safe and welcome, thank you for an amazing mini break I am sure we'll be back soon x

Lovely hotel centrally located hotel with super friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble and Melanie and Pauline were always happy to chat and share knowledge of the area! Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was plentiful and with plenty of continental and cooked choices we never got bored of it!

It's a strange hotel to review this one. It's not really fair of Tripadvisor to only rate hotels as very good or average because some, like this hotel come somewhere in between. For example, the hotel itself is a story of 2 halves. One half being the amenities, the bar entertainment area, the pool area and staff which are excellent and compare favourably with hotels that we have stayed in that are far more exclusive. The other half is the rooms, the balconies and the inclusive breakfasts, which compare favourably with hotels that we have stayed in that really do come up to a less than average standard. The pros for this hotel that a visitor would notice immediately is the very strong welcome that is given by the reception staff, this bright disposition held for all of our 14 days, thanks to the staff being highly professional and not too overpowering. Melanie, Pauline and Chris excelled in patience and I would reward them with a medal if they were in the army. Cleaners and breakfast waiters were super and funny. Sorry I did not get their names. The rooms were minuscule and not to our liking but hey ho it's only for a fortnight. supplied breakfast suffered from lack of choice and as the days crept further into October the choice got less. All in all Sidari and Corfu are not for us. 45 years on have not changed our mind. My wife summed up both our feelings, we have paid a lot less and got a lot more. Sorry 3 Brothers not in our future holiday plans.

Just returned from 6 days in room 4 poolside’first time at christakis hotel but won’t be the last has already planning for a couple of visits next year ‘made friends with some lovely people ‘rooms are very clean staff are very friendly and food and bar prices are good too thanks to all and see you soon .

Loved it here the hotel is in a fab location yes it’s slightly dated but beds are super comfortable and air con, safes and Wi-Fi are all free. The pool area is lovely , the hotel is spotless. Best thing about it though is the staff who are just lovely and make you feel so at home. Pauline and Melanie on reception are super friendly and helpful and bar staff are all great fun would stay here again in a heart beat

2nd time this year and have been coming here for quite a few years,would not stay anywhere else,easy walking distance to beach and bars,quiet area and well looked after by the Mouzakitis family,Joanna and all the staff.Hoping to come back again next year.

Fantastic 2 weeks at the christakis, our 4th time here and enjoyed it every time requested a ground floor as my wife had broken her ankle 4months previous and we're given one in the new block a lovely spacious room,pool area nice and clean and very nice bar area.thanks to everyone involved for a great holiday chris Joanne and all the cleaners we will definitely return.

Hotel itself is in perfect location directly on *****, back rooms are quiet so no trouble sleeping at night. No lift so would be difficult for those with mobility problems however was not as issue for us. Staff carry cases up stairs which is a lovely gesture bless them. Hotel itself was spotlessly clean, free Air con, rooms had everything you need, yes admittedly decor and furnishings dated but seriously who cares the beds were comfortable and slept like a baby each night. Pool area is beautiful and food at lunch was nice from bar. Staff were all very helpful and welcoming. Only issue we had overall is the hotel is mainly people over age of 60 we were a couple aged 28 and 30 and were the youngest there by far, due to this we did have a few older guests giving funny looks and attempting to make us feel uncomfortable we assume these were returning guests for many years not used to younger faces being around despite the fact we were so quiet you never would have noticed we were there. Only complaint If you wish to call it that is some of the older guests assumed they had the god given right to be prioritised by Staff and the older gentlemen in mornings at breakfast/lunch did tend to favour these guests, he was polite enough but the difference in treatment was blatant. Definitely is not a hotel for children if anything I would assume it's adults only as I don't think guests would appreciate the noise of kids being honest and would probably make you feel uncomfortable. Ladies on reception always had a smile and younger gentlemen in mornings was lovely to us. Overall had a lovely holiday but other guests has potentially put us off returning we have been to sidari many times staying at hotel down the road and first year we were made to feel like outcasts from other guests, I must end this review by saying this was the guests not the hotel itself as cannot fault them overall.
