We stayed in Oamaru for one night to watch the penguins return to their nests. Although the hotel is small and well-equipped, it is clean and hygienic. The location is also good. It is relatively close to the center of the town, which is convenient for us to return home. The seaside town of Oamaru is also a great place to hang out. The hotel overall is good value for money.

FFountainzzWe were traveling from Christchurch to Dunedin, passing through Oamaru, a city with few people. We chose this hotel blindly, but our friends all liked it very much. It was small and exquisite. The environment was comfortable, with milk and earplugs. There was a green supermarket next door for parking, which was very convenient. There were many special decorations in the decoration, Maori culture, fishing, hunting... The only drawback was that there was really nothing to eat in the breakfast you brought with you, so don't have too high expectations.

GGuest UserVery close to Highway 1! There is a large supermarket 15 minutes' walk away where you can buy food. There is a full set of kitchenware and tableware in the room, which is very convenient! Note: The parking space number is the same as the room number. The boss is also in the courtyard and doesn't look very friendly!

AAnonymous UserThe front desk is a Chinese male, the service is warm, the room is clean and sanitary, it is a bungalow, and there is no noise from the second floor. It is very close to the place where you can see penguins. There is a panda restaurant not far away that is very delicious. It is great to take it back to the hotel to eat.

GGuest UserThe hotel in the beautiful town of Baishi doesn't have a big appearance, but the interior of the hotel has a strong Christmas atmosphere. The room is not big, but it is clean and tidy. It is quiet at night and it is good to have a good rest. The hotel is in the center of the town, making life convenient and it's pleasant to browse the shops!

Cons:
Not satisfied with the breakfast. Juices and milk were served in glasses in the evening before the next day and they were just covered with a plastic. Dont think this is very hygienic.
Cleanliness of the room is moderate, the linen is clean but we are not sure about the sheet covering it, looks not clean.
A bit expensive to be served with opened milk and juices (covered with plastic) only.
Other than that, its ok.
