Nice stay in Lille in the Ibis Centre Grand Palais.
The room is small but with all the comforts. nice and available staff. Abundant and varied breakfast with typical French products such as crepes, madeleins, cheeses, many kinds of bread.
We stayed for one night and everything went well: from check-in, check-out, luggage storage...

We were assigned an accessible junior suite though we didn't request an accessible room.. The bathroom was half finished and the wiring was not completed with the switches for the separate toilet and bath located in the doorway. There were signs pasted on the door to the toilet and the door to the shower stating that the hotel offered its apologies for the inconvenience! There was a workman's support pole found under the sinks which had to be removed by the technician when we complained. There was not a single hook, clothes stand, towel rack or rail anywhere in the bathroom, toilet or room. The hotel staff explained that they would send a technician a second time to drill hooks in the bathroom, we didn't bother since we were staying only 2 nights and didn't want the dust. The shower glass in the shower stall could not contain water within the stall and the floor became wet after we showered.
Location wise the hotel is perfect and the staff were polite. Breakfast was a mix of hot cooked food and the usual cold cuts, cheeses, breads, yoghurt, fruits and juices. The breakfast room changes to a bar at night which serves affordable and nice cocktails.

The hotel is not far from the two train stations in Lille and is about 10 minutes walk. Located in the center of Lille, it is also very convenient to go to the square next to it. Check-in was smooth and the front desk service was very warm. Breakfast is not very rich but can fill your stomach.

AAnonymous UserSpacious room, sufficient for two colleagues. Thoughtful amenities, provided additional pillow options, as well as turndown service. Good strong coffee with Nespresso machine. WiFi wa rather intermittent, kept getting disconnected during zoom online meeting but otherwise able to do emails. Short walk to conference venue (Lille Grand Palais). Limited food options nearby, often walked to Lille Flandres side or Town Centre for meals. Service was very responsive, some housekeeping staff were able to speak English. Nice touch at the end with door chocolates upon checkout. Overall a good experience.

DDrLOPSThe location was very convenient for train travelling. I arrived next door at Lille Europe and continued the next day to Lille Flandres station. Walked to both.
The hotel is also working a very nice walk to city centre. Very safe and lively walk. The Westfield shopping mall is nearby so shopping is made easy.
Large mini suite. My son travelled with me so we had the small bed made out, but still had plenty of room.
Only thing are that the bathroom and toilet room seem prefabricated and are kind of wonky (though very functional. My son felt they felt as if we were in a train bathroom.
All and all, very nice.
*we did not eat at the cafeteria (it is not a restaurant, really).

JJoe the world citizenThe hotel is located just across from Lille Europe train station. It is perfect for overnight stay to catch early morning train. During the stay, the gym was broken, which was not a good sign. In addition, although the room is quite comfortable and clean, the quality of the bathroom can be improved.

NNatsuemonI chose this hotel right next to the station because I had to catch the TGV early the next morning. The shuttle bus stop to the Olympic venue was just a short walk away, and it was conveniently close to the shopping center with Carrefour.
The twin room had a small bed size, but it was a Hollywood twin, so there was enough space to spread out two large suitcases.
The room was generally clean, and there was a refrigerator and a bathtub. The shower was powerful and I had a comfortable stay.
I arrived before check-in time, but I was able to get to my room right away.

GGuest UserThe staff members were so nice. However, when I asked them to help keep my luggage, they just opened a room door for me and asked me to put my luggage by myself, and when I wanted to get back my luggage, they asked me to take it on my own without even looking at what I was doing. I think they should at least give out a tag or something and mark down our luggage, what if someone comes in and steal the luggage?

SSOPHIEThe location of the hotel is very good, next to the opera house and good service. The hotel is in the city center, about a three-minute walk to the subway station, restaurants, cafes and shopping malls are very close to the hotel, very convenient!

BBon_BonAlthough it feels like a youth hostel, the room is not big, about 100 feet, but it is clean and tidy. There is a 24-hour self-service kitchen. The lobby dining room is lively at night, with many people drinking beer and chatting. In terms of location, it takes 15 minutes to walk there. metro station, and it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the bus station. It is quite convenient to get in and out. I will come back if I have the opportunity in the future.
