The hotel is very stunning. It is a stunning beauty that cannot be truly reflected by the official photos of Ctrip and the photos of guests. The mountain scenery of Guangxi needs to be seen with the naked eye. The mobile phone cannot capture the grandeur of the scene. The hotel housekeeper Jane is a model of hard work. Whether it is 5 am or 11 pm, she will reply quickly. We are surprised! The hotel restaurant is also very amazing and reasonably priced. Special mention should be made of Dongmei from the Ritz-Carlton Tea House. She is warm and thoughtful, and the photos are amazing. The one-to-one tour guide Xiaoliang is also dedicated and responsible. Make our journey efficient and unique. The package of Ritz-Carlton provides an extraordinary experience. You must try it if you have the opportunity. It is a completely different travel experience from buying tickets by yourself. Finally, there are some shortcomings. Amazing stay at Yunlu. Amazing service from the wonderful staff. Extremely quiet location. Beautiful scenery around. Great breakfast (no buffet). Large rooms with great views. Even a small pool (more for children). I cannot say enough good things about the amazing service that the staff provided. Joyous staff. Good feelings. Not much English spoken (well basically none as is usual in China based on my experience) but with the help of the various apps and a positive attitude this is practically not a real issue. It can even be fun. Anyway they fulfilled all my requests and more than that (incl. for the breakfast as I suffer from diabetes) and always made sure I was happy and enjoying my stay. The rooms I had (2 stays) were very large. The air conditioning was very efficient and silent. The views were so enjoyable (yes out there in Mingshi there are better views of course but still). The large bed was very comfortable. Big sofa, tables, chairs ... and a lot of space. Nice bathroom with good shower. A fridge was available and included some ”free” drinks. I found the location perfect as it is not in the village itself but on the other side of the little river. So it is very quiet. A very short drive to the village and even walking requires no more than 30 minutes. Restaurants are only available in the village and bike rentals are way cheaper in the village too. I would certainly not recommend the local shop close to the hotel for rentals as the deals proposed are absurd (well prices the owner articulated were simply exorbitant). I will definitely return to Mingshi as I loved the region and there is so much to discover. I will quite certainly look no further than the Yunlu. Location. Peacefulness. But above all because of the extraordinary customer friendly attitude and the good spirit of the ”team”.

We are traveling by car and want to stay in a hotel in the park to avoid the cost of a shuttle bus. This hotel is not in the scenic area, but next to the ticket office. The owner is very enthusiastic. The room is really a bit dirty. The facilities in the room are quite complete and equipped with mosquito coils. The free breakfast is enough. Although the room is not very good, I guess other guest rooms are similar. It's a village, so it's just for a night.

The hotels food is simple but delicious and the location couldn’t be better. Rooms are clean and the Mountain View rooms provide a beautiful look out onto the local scenery. Overall this is a great place to stay if you are visiting this region.

LLuoyang98Mingshi Yaju, the first thing that impressed me was the location and environment of the hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located in the scenic area. The hotel is built by the water. There is a green river downstairs and a long mountain opposite. It is very pleasant. The swimming pool and the river face each other. Every shot is a beautiful photo. But the service must be the one that can keep the guests' hearts. Since adding the hotel butler's WeChat, you will find that Yaju's service is constant temperature, and all questions are answered, and the reply speed is even faster. The hotel also provides guests with bamboo raft afternoon tea. Speaking of bamboo rafts, I have to talk about the handsome boy Xiao Tan, who is kind and enthusiastic, generous in conversation, very talkative, and a very sunny and thoughtful young man. The car cannot enter the scenic area, but don't worry, the shuttle bus like a classic car is always at the service of the guests. EEatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

MMaomaozhuA family of three and four children booked two rooms at Zhenshan and stayed there for two nights. They arrived in the afternoon of the first day, had some noodles and then checked in at Yulingba and Xingfu Bridge. They arrived at Detian on the second day, came back to rest, and left the hotel on the third day and headed to the next stop. Zhenshan is in a very good location, close to the Xingfu Bridge in Yulingba and a little far from the Xingfu Community, but you can get there by renting an electric scooter (the price is negotiable). It is also a 40-minute drive from Detian by car. The breakfast at Zhenshan is rich and well-supplied. One bowl of noodles is enough for a big or small snack for us. The Shiwei restaurant opposite to the restaurant is pretty good, and the hand-made yellow-skinned lemon dish next to it is delicious. If you have high demands for food and can afford the prices, you can go to the Chinese restaurants there. (The last few pictures are from there)

GGuest UserThe area is beautiful. The tent and tent area are very nice. My kids loved it! The receptionist Li Lin 李霖 and the rest of the team are very nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable. The pillow was too high for me, but my husband didn’t complain. If you are light and sound sensitive when sleeping, then bring earplugs and sleeping eye mask, because is a tent, of course. The tent I booked was very comfortable in size for two adults and two kids. It had two queen beds and one single bed. There is tv and amenities (shampoo&Co, toothbrush, shaving kit, hair dryer). Breakfast was Chinese style buffet, which we are happy with. The restaurant belongs to another hotel in the same area (there are several hotels in that park). You can order bbq set. Nice quality meat and veggies. I would recommend this camping area for any family with kids. There is a playground area as well and is nice to walk through the trees.

The bed in the house was very big and the chair by the window was very comfortable. After the tour, Ge You sat down at the floor-to-ceiling glass window and lay down. The hotel is on the road leading to the scenic spot, so I thought it would be busy. After checking in, I found it to be quite quiet. The proprietress was very enthusiastic and attentive, and reminded us to bring water to Detian Waterfall.

GGuest UserThe villa counter staff are prompt in responding to every request. They are very helpful, polite and professional. So is everyone else, including the housekeeping cleaners. The shuttle bus comes readily when called. Our courtyard room for 3 with a loft on level 2, with balcony facing the pool is new, clean and well-furnished. There are 4 of us and extra blankets and pillows are given readily upon request for the 4th person. The shower heater in the bathroom works well and water drains well in the bathroom. The air heater works perfectly to keep us warm in the winter cold. Buffer breakfast has a big variety of very delicious food, including hot noodle soup with meat and vegetables. The traditional dance at 8pm is a must-watch especially the lighting of fire and mass dance at the finale. Everyone and everything are excellent and make our stay so pleasant and memorable. However we still feel that the room rate is too pricey for a rural environment. And there’s no need to have boat tickets daily. One time boat-ride is sufficient.

There is a restaurant next to it for dining. You can drive here by yourself. There is a paid parking lot. Stay for one night and you can go to Detian Waterfall Scenic Area the next morning. The hotel owner can buy tickets for you, but you need to register the night before.

MMarcelKAmazing hotel! It really is more like a resort with a lot of things to discover. Unfortunately, probably due to the current pandemic situation, not everything has been in operation. You got a little nice bar for the occasional long-nighter 😅 there and a restaurant with a huge menu of different meals. The restaurant service has been unbelievable quick to serve the fresh cooked dishes. The hotel itself has been quite clean and the service staff always been helpful. Do not expect anyone speaking English thou. The whole surrounding is taken care of with visible passion and still you feel like in the middle of the jungle. If you got some time to spare, walk around the little village outside the hotel and try to find the small beautiful almost historic part of it, still being actively lived in by the locals. Just please always be respectful and cautious not to disturb them in any way. FYI: if you arrive there by bus from from Nanning (南宁) to DaXin (大新) (the ride itself is absolutely worth it), there are local drivers Infront of the bus station who know how to get to the hotel. Just make sure not to pay more then 250 RMB. Also make sure all your health codes, passports, visas, etc are all in order and quickly handy. After all it is a border region and the are a lot of checkpoints to pass through. That's no time to mess up anything.
